Ever wonder what some of your favorite stars did to pay the rent before they hit the big time? If so, then don't miss original SOAPnet special, They Started on Soaps 2, on Wednesday, April 21 at 11 p.m., which will feature early appearances on daytime dramas by Jennifer Lopez, Robert De Niro, Courtney Cox, Kevin Kine, Angela Bassett, Allison Janney and Robert Downey, Jr. SOAPnet will also feature a five-hour programming event on Saturday, April 24 beginning at 1 p.m. ET with the first They Started on Soaps special followed by three classic serials with big name stars and ending with an encore of They Started on Soaps 2.

This sounds like a great event. Can't wait to see it! I enjoyed the first special.

BTW, SOAPnet's press release on their website includes what shows are airing in the marathon on the 24th. The shows that will be included are:


All My Children (with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kelly Rippa)
General Hospital (with Demi Moore)
Knots Landing (with Alec Baldwin)

Is Mary-Kate & Ashley guest starred on the "All My Children" reruns? I haven't seen it yet, but it will be on SOAPNet April 21st. Andrea Barber, the one who later launched the role of Kimmy Gibbler on "Full House" will have her start on "Day of Our Lives" probably on SOAPNet also on April 21st. Will find out what happens.:D

Is John Stamos will be appearing on classic "General Hospital" on SOAPnet as part of "They Started on Soaps" marathon?:)
