What is your favorite movie starring/featuring Jim Carrey?

My absolute favorite movie of Jim Carrey is "Lair, Lair". He was extremely funny in that movie.

Dumb and Dumber. I saw that movie when it was in the theater and I literally laughed so hard that I had tears coming out of my eyes and I fell out of my seat.

I like every Jim Carrey movie except The Cable Guy. My my totaly most favorit Jim Carrey movie has to be Ace Ventura. This is a lovely room of death, take care now bye bye then.

Even though it's a little dirty I like "Me, Myself & Irene"

Jim Carrey is sooo overrated. I don't think he's made me laugh once! And as for 'Me, Myself & Irene'......that is one of the most awful movies I have ever seen!!

I totally have to agree with that. He may be a good actor, it's really hard to tell under all that hype. He seems to have a very high opinion of himself.

My favorite movies of his is Liar, Liar, Ace Ventura When Nature Calls, The Truman Show, and The Majestic.

liked him in "Batman Forever".

The film Me Myself and Irene was a little sick at times, but I don't mind the humor. I have watched lots of sick humor in my time. Especially since I watch Kids In The Hall. And, the humor on that show is really sick at times, too. Jim Carrey is so funny. Even if at times, his humor seems to be a little over the edge.

also i think "the grinch" is a cute movie and I like Simon Birch a lot....its a very sad movie though

Dumb & Dumber! OMG... I've seen that movie 1000000000 times but it gets better each time! It never ever fails to make me laugh my ass off.

It's hard to decide. A tie between Ace Ventura Pet Detective and The Mask, in my opinion.

I would say Liar, Liar, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, and the Truman Show are my personal favorites. I also liked Me, Myself, and Irene.

I don't really care for him but I really enjoyed The Truman Show.

Dumb & Dumber, and Liar Liar were my favorites.

I can't decide. I love all his movies. Probably Me, Myself and Irene. I even loved The Cable Guy even though it was panned by the critics. I'm a fan of Matthew Broderick too.

It would be Liar Liar. It was the first movie I saw in the theatres. :D

My favorite just has to be "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective." That movie has so many funny lines. Here is a set of (censored) dialogue, when Aguado steps on a bug in the police station and challenges Ventura to solve the case.

Aguado: Homicide, Ventura. Now how are you going to solve that one. Ha ha.

Ace: Good question, Aguado. First I would establish a motive. In this case the killer saw the size of the bug's (censored) and became insanely jealous. Then I'd lose forty pounds (watch the film for the rest of this line)

(Aguado tries to tackle him but Ace gets the upper hand and shoves his face in the bug's corpse)

Now, kiss and make up!

i liked Jim in Earth Girls are easy and i loved him in the Majestic

all of them except for the Cable Guy *Shudder*

Mine are Dumb and Dumber and mE, Myself and Irene!!!!!:lol:

I'm really not a big fan of Jim Carrey, but this was an amazing film nontheless..

Did you know that there is going to be a new Jim Carrey movie this spring? I saw a trailer for it. It's called "Bruce Almighty." It's about a guy who doesn't like the way God runs things and then winds up having his powers for a week to see if HE can do it any better. I am going to watch it when it comes out.

I love every single one of Jim Carrey's movies in varying degrees, including The Cable Guy. The problem with that movie is that viewers were expecting the usual Carrey humor and were caught off caught by the dark comedy. Matthew Broderick was great in that movie. He's underrated as an actor. I loved Matthew in Election too. Great film.
Me, Myself and Irene, Liar Liar and The Truman Show are my favorite Carrey films.
I think he's a comic genius.

I think Liar Liar and Dumb and Dumber are tied...I especially like Liar Liar because Maura Tierney co-stars with Jim! Anyway, Dumb and Dumber is hilarious...and Liar Liar cracks me up every time I watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I find myself watching Dumb & Dumber everytime it's on TV, but I also thought Me, Myself & Irene was funny. I just saw Bruce Almighty and really liked that, too.

Bruce Almighty was really funny when I first saw but quickly declined when I rewatched it.

But, I love watching Dumb & Dumber, and Liar Liar. Yet I love all of his movies, and even Once Bitten isn't that bad, it's actually a lot better than I thought.

The Mask, The Grinch, The Truman Show (I must watch it again- haven't seen it in ages!)- can't wait till Eternal Sunshine is released over here!

Mine is Dumb and Dumber and The Cable Guy. Me, Myself, and Irene was ok. It was kind of silly.

ditto. i'm usually not into dumb humor, but dumb and dumber (among others) is just classic! the truman show really showed off some real acting credibility.

i have yet to see eternal sunshine of the spotless mind....i've heard it was good...what did you guys think?

I loved Liar Liar.Most of his films are really funny,but if i had to choose my favourite,this would be it.

That was a fantastic film. Really. But I wouldn't say he was the strongest thing about it, in my opinion Kate Winslet stole that film right out from under him ;)

That was a rip-off of the 1989 Twilight Zone episode "Special Delivery" starring David Naughton. Basically the same plot only stretched further.
