OK - which sitcom took place in an apartment the had a door on the right that had lots of locks on the door. Might of been in a low-income part of a big city. 70's maybe.

I believe you're thinking of the 1960's sitcom Get Smart, In Maxwell Smart's apartment there was a series of locks on his door.

Not Get Smart - thanks though. I'm sure it's 70's

The Kotter apartment (Welcome Back Kotter) had a lot of locks. Is this the one you are thinking of?:confused:

What's funny about the locks on the door on Get Smart was that the door opened oppsite of the locks!
