Have you seen this guy play? He is great! I have heard some sports people say he might be the best Rookie ever. I don't know about that cause in my mind Michael Jordan is still #1. :D

He is by miles the best rookie ever to come out of highschool, but MJ averaged over 30 ppg his rookie year. I'd say he's probably 2nd best rookie in a long, long time.

If Cleveland doesn't make the playoffs, He wil not win rookie of the year.

I think him scoring 41 points just about wraps it up for him.

It's definitely gonna be close between him & Carmelo for rookie of the yr award cause they both have had major impacts on their teams & the league this yr. Monarc did u see Manu Ginobili dunk on Carlos Boozer & Zydrunas Ilgauskas last night? I don't think the Cavs are gonna make the playoffs. Even if they don't make the playoffs, i think Lebron will get rookie of the yr. I think Michael Jordan is the best rookie ever. Lebron is definitely the best rookie to come out of high school cause Tracy McGrady, Kobe, Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O Neal, Shawn Kemp didn't have major impacts on their teams when they first entered the NBA.

He should because he is leading his team to a playoff spot. Carmello and Lebron will be home when the playoffs start

Rookie of the year is about which rookie was the best player. Not the rookie who had the best supporting cast to take him to the playoffs. LeBron will definitely win it this year.

Since Miami was not a PLAYOFF TEAM last year, Wade Will defintely win. Remember Miami will be not only a playoff team but a 6th seed maybe 5th

They also added Lamar Odom this year. Keep in mind the Heat are in the Eastern conference, too. Don't make it sound like Wade is "putting them over the top" or something, because that isn't the case.

LOL@Jekouptown thinkin that Carmelo doesn't have a shoot first mindset like Lebron. Carmelo jacks up as many shots as Lebron & they both have terrible field goal percentage. Carmelo is more of a ballhog than Lebron is. Lebron gets his teammates involved & he's never once complained about not getting the ball. Carmelo has already complained to his teammates in Detroit a few weeks ago when he felt like they weren't giving him the ball enough. Does Lebron lead all rookies in assists?

Carmelo isn't more polished than Lebron. Lebron is a all around player. Carmelo is one dimensional which means he's only a scorer. His defense isn't all that great & his rebounding isn't good. His shot selection isn't good & neither is Lebron's shot selection. The Cavs are really a pitiful team. I watched them get spanked last night against Milwaukee 107-89 on ESPN. They're gonna have to get rid of some players this offseason cause their bench is a joke. When the bench comes in the game, the Cavs might as well forget about winning LOL. Kevin Ollie, Ira Newble, Dajuan Wagner don't do jack. Tony Battie is really the only bench player that does something. Desagana Diop is a shot blocker & that's it. Lee Nailon started last night & scored 10 points in 30 minutes but he didn't have a rebound for the Cavs. How could u not get a rebound in 30 minutes?

Well, the way things are going lately, it's looking like 'melo has just as much of a shot at winning R.O.Y. as 'Bron does. Both have had great rookie campaigns, and both are two of the best rookies we've seen in a while.

LeBron James can score 20-10-5 like KG. Bron Should definetly deserve this award.
