If there is a reunion, I think it'll be a retrospective of the show. I don't think the actors will get in character.

I dont think it will come soon.
Id say 2007.... everyone would still be moderately young.... and it would be the 25th anniversary of the show.

I couldnt really determine HOW the storyline would be until "Frasier" ends.... but hopefully his return to Boston will come May 13th.

I don't think Frasier will be returning to Cheers.

I DO think that Cheers and/or Lilith will somehow be mentioned in the finale however.

I am watching this last season...and let me just say the more and more I watch the more and more I love Niles! I wish he'd been in Cheers....hahahaha

I think they ought to pay their respects and mention the show that gave them their start, even if it's a two second type thing, or one line, I don't know.... anything....lol I'm desperate...we're desperate...

I think Niles in Cheers would ruin his character.
He would HATE it.
At least Frasier can hang out and be one of the guys.
But as somebody once pointed out on the Frasier boards.... Niles' has NEVER worn jeans.

I agree with you 100% on that one. I hate these reunion movies that are filmed like a movie. The studio audience adds something.

yes, and please please no added characters like Wise cracking kids or anything...we don't want to see the characters trying to deal with parenthood...we want them exactly the way we left them 11 years ago

ok.... so 3 DEFINATE rules.

i highly doubt it will be in front of a truly live studio audience, and i wouldnt want a laugh track either. i want it in the FORMAT of the show, more than anything. i think, way back when, in my cheers reunion movie fanfic, i started it w/ the Cheers sign, and "Cheers; the Reunion is NOT filmed in front of a live studio audience," or something like that. you'd need your teaser scene, and the theme (lengthened, maybe, even). then transition shots w/ its music (maybe even from the show actually, or modernized versions of it). it'd just be longer.

to make it work as a movie, id allow for some changes to the style/format/whatever, just so it doesnt ignore the theme (lol).
