This season is getting better and better. I can't believe two new characters are already taken out.

Yeah, I know. I wonder how long Tony B. will last. Hope for a long time, I like Steve Buscemi.

A.J.'s turning into a real little punk now.

I'd like to see him develop more. He's been nothing but a statue for a few years now.

That was very big of Tony not to "whack" that old guy and just set him up so his parole officer could haul his rusty behind back to prison! But he sure did beat the hell out of the lawn guy! WHEW! A.J. is just annoying! Tony just can't leave Melfi alone can he!

Omg! yeah, I was seriously expecting Loggia's character to get whacked.

See, Tony does have a heart and it's pretty obvious what he has for Melfi.

I'm seriously surprised that Tony, didn't totally go off on A.J. for
his treatment of Carmela.

I was surprised Carmela didn't take off her shoe and beat him!! Saying F.U to your mother could do it. And I'm NOT speaking from experience!

It's gonna be interesting now that Carmella has started dating. I'd love to see Furio come back.

Yeah me too, a scene with Tony, Carmela and Furio would be really intense.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Adriana might not survive the season? I've read that Drea de Matteo is set to star as Joey's sister in the Friends spin-off, but no one at HBO or NBC is saying if that means she won't be doing The Sopranos as well. I hope they don't kill her off.

Yeah, I have that feeling. I get this feeling from an earlier episode that Carmela knows what's going on.

Every week I'm scared for her! I'm also getting scared for the principal of A.J. school! He seems to be smitten with Carmela. I remember some other guy was warned about having eyes for her and he nearly peed in his pants when he found out she was a mobsters wife! If I remember correctly!

I think it was Victor Musto. He was the cousin of Jeannie Cusamano. He was in th the paint/wallpaper business I think.

Is that who you're thinking of Marvin?

Drea is definitely going to be bumped off. Probably by Christopher too.

Yeah, I can't imagine anyone else doing that. It'll be either at her club or at their apartment.

From the coming attractions, it looks like it might be next week.

You think Christopher could do that even if he found out she's working for the Feds? I've had a feeling that her days were numbered, but it would be wild if ChrisTAFA rubbed her out.

Actually, I can see him with his hot temper, killing her, possibly by accident. This is getting very exciting!

With all this speculation about how and when Adriana goes, I'm wondering: If Christopher does take out Adriana, will Tony lose it as badly as he did when Christopher accidentally killed that poor little dog? I'm guessing it's just the death (or other departure) of innocent animals that sets Tony off.

True, look what he did to Ralphie when he killed the horse.

Well, Ralphie definitely had it coming. I thought his demise was too quick and long overdue. I'd like to think that Tony's reaction was also, at least in some small part, due to Ralph having killed Tracee in Season 3 since that upset him enough that he ended up talking to Melfi about it, but it was probably mostly about the horse.

Someone gets rubbed out tonite according to the coming attractions last week. Of course you can't forget that there's a power struggle and possible mob war with Johnny Sac and Carmine Jr.

I agree it was a buildup of reasons for Ralphie's demise, and the horse was the last straw.

I'm drawing a blank, but wasn't Tony fascinated with the ducks in his pool? Possibly in his dreams....I think Tony talked about the ducks with Melfi as well. She told them they were symbolic of something??

I have no memory. Can barely remember what I had for breakfast, lol.

I hope Johnny Sac stays. I like him.

People are getting whacked this season, but so far it's only been people that are brought on for the sole purpose of getting whacked.

There's the guy who ended up in the trunk, the woman who misbehaved, and if you want to count the waiter who didn't get his tip.

....all characters that weren't developed and who the audience has no feelings invested in, good or bad. It's to the point that whenever I see a new character brought on, I figure they're getting whacked within an episode or two.

Steven Schirripa was on Conan a few weeks back, and was asked if he was getting whacked. He said that he couldn't answer those types of questions.

Then Conan mentioned the Soprano's poster that Bobby Bacala isn't pictured in, and Steven said, "I know, I know. Everyone knows I'm upset about that."

The newest Soprano's poster I found was this one, and it's hard to see who's who. If he is absent, it sort of makes me wonder.

I'm guessing it'll be Tony B., only because he's out of the pen and trying to get his life together and BAM...he's gone. Except, I think I see him in the poster. So much for my "Murphy's Law" Theory.

It could also be Little Carmine...I have a strong feeling that if they do go to war, Johnny Sack will win. LC's a minor character, IMO, how often do you see him on the show.

I have no memory. Can barely remember what I had for breakfast, lol. Yes, the ducks. :) That was in the first episode. In fact, Tony had his first episode (with the panic attacks) when the ducks that had been living in and around his pool flew away. Then he had a dream about a bird flying off with his penis in its beak. Melfi finally helped him realize that the ducks represented family to Tony, and when they flew away it brought up fears he'd been suppressing about losing his own family, or something like that.

Poor guy. He's messed up in ways he can't even imagine, but that's probably what makes him such a sympathetic character.

this show has been kinda slow for me. I did miss a couple of episodes though.
