View Full Version : Episode with John Kerry?
GeorgeJefferson 03-28-2004, 11:16 PM I searched for a profile on John Kerry on the IMDb and it said he made a guest appearance in a 10th season episode entitled, "Bar Wars VI..." I know the show has had other politicians like Tip O'Neil, Gary Hart, and even Michael Dukakis (post-election) make cameo appearances, but I haven't seen this one with Kerry. Has anyone seen it? I think it would be funny now that he is running for president.
FOLN@NFan 03-28-2004, 11:42 PM lol ive seen it (its on my comp., actually)
teaser: norm and cliff are walking down the street toward the bar. kerry is signing an autograph for someone, and norm and cliff stop and ask him for it. as he does, they mention how they loved his story on something, thinking hes a local newsanchor. he corrects them, telling them hes Senator Kerry, and their like "oh, Our senator? we're so sorry." they apologize, and just walk down the steps 2 the bar. they stop and wonder if he knows senator (???) from the Love Boat, and run back up the steps 2 catch him, then the theme starts.
Brian Damage 03-29-2004, 12:53 PM For some reason, I don't remember that.
barwars 03-29-2004, 04:18 PM I never knew exactly where John Kerry was.... but now that you mention it.... I CLEARLY see Norm, Cliff, and the future President talking.
Its the one where Norm and Cliff are fighting over which news station he works for.
MaydayMalonesGirl 03-29-2004, 05:51 PM  I don't remember him being on. He frightens me.
DianeChambers87 03-29-2004, 05:53 PM lol I like Conan's impression of him
Brian Damage 03-29-2004, 07:54 PM He looks like Lurch from the Addams Family.

So the moderator can make political remarks on the Cheers board, but when I do, the thread gets closed.
I love double standards.

Oh, c'mon AKA that was hardly a comment if you want to say the phrase "Go Kerry" go right ahead, I won't close the thread.
Me, I don't really like either but i'll go with Kerry so
Go Kerry
Brian Damage 03-30-2004, 03:28 PM First off, I was kidding.
Second you and ou812 went waaay off topic with all your Kerry is better no Bush is better stuff. Other people on this board Pm'd me and asked me to close it.
Sorry you're so sensitive about George Bush.
Brian Damage 03-30-2004, 03:36 PM Besides, when I nicely asked you two to stop. The both of you just ignored me and continued your political rants.

John Kerry on Cheers.... not John Kerry running for president. :p I don't care either. Politics bore me.
Brian Damage 03-31-2004, 11:05 AM me too :)
Janice 04-03-2004, 03:09 AM I'm surprised that Kerry was on Cheers. I didn't think he was nationally recognized outside of Massachusetts back then.
Hope the moderators don't get mad at me for this.

Yawn.
It was kind of funny when Brian Damage did it first on the current events forum. Now all it is is making fun of a suspended poster.
What's next, Janice? Brett Ferino and RainMan jokes?

You're not in my head. I was making fun of ALL posters who do that, "I'm leaving....I'm back" routine.

Brian Damage 04-04-2004, 11:23 PM Allright guys, c'mon let's keep this related to Cheers. No fights please. :)

Nobody's stopping you. You and the Liberal-Hatin' Team trashes me on a daily basis, anyway.
Oh, wait. You just said that for comic relief. Gawd, you're so FUNNY! Move over, George Carlin, here comes For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

I'm not in your head, Janice, but it's blatantly obvious you're making fun of one particular person, and not the many posters who have made their farewell post and come back.
I like to think that you know I'm not an idiot, Janice. Please don't insult my intelligence.

You are a big titty baby. Bigger than "Kitty". Janice -You look pretty smart to me. Got yer point across without typing a word. Damn smart!!!!
Well, OU812, I'd much rather be a "titty baby" than a brown-nosed buffoon.
DianeChambers87 04-05-2004, 04:56 PM Guys there is a place for this discussion, and it's not in the Cheers boards.
