I say The Spurs will be great this year. We have a great team this year. But our biggest challenge will be the Lakers or the Kings.

The Knicks are my team, and I hope they go as far as they can. But they are an incomplete team right now, I more exited about next years Knicks team that will be much improve, didn't I mention before, Rasheed Wallace will be a Knick next season.

But of the teams that have a realistic chance to win it, I am pulling for Detroit or Indiana (when they are not playing the Knicks) to win it all. It is time an Eastern Conference team wins the championship.

Look. The Knicks are my favorite team. If they are down at least 6 at the end of any quarter, I get so damn mad and they just lost to the Nets and they didnt have Jason kidd nor Kenyon Martin. The Knicks are make it to the playoffs, but will get eliminated just like that.

The Knicks do stink & they run their mouths too much. Stephon Marbury said before the game that he wouldn't mind playing the Nets in the first round of the playoffs cause he feels the Knicks might upset them. He should've never said that cause the Nets spanked their asses last night 108-83 in New Jersey LOL. Stephon & Penny Hardaway led the Knicks with 14 points each. That's not gonna be enough against the Nets. Stephon is gonna have to score way more points than that. It's a shame they couldn't take advantage of the Nets without Jason & Kenyon. Well they still have a slim chance. They are 3 games back with 6 games left. So if the Knicks were to lose tonight and their remaining 5 games and the Sixers win their last 5, then the Sixers get in. But all of that probably won;t happen. The Sixers can;t catch Boston because they lose the tie breaker to the Celtics. So they are 4 games behind Boston. I think Toronto was eliminated last night

The Knicks aren't gonna slip up & let Philly take their spot. Boston is gonna get the last playoff spot. Philly & Cleveland might as well get their summer vacation plans ready LOL.

Yeah both teams are only MATHEMATICALLY Alive.

It baffles me how Utah has a chance at making the playoffs when they don't have any superstar players at all. Andrei Kirilenko, Gordon Giricek, Raja Bell are the only good players on that team but somehow they've been playing unbelievable ball all season. Now what is Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, LA Clippers, Golden State, Phoenix, Philly, Orlando, Toronto, Seattle teams excuse? All these teams have better players than Utah & they can't win jack LOL. Plus another good thing about Utah is that they're in the western conference which is the toughest conference in the NBA & they're still winning.

Let's leave a former Knick center out of this. Utah always got in due to Stockton/Malone, Isiah is right Utah shoulb be terrible this year, especially in the West.

I think the East has a chance this year, as long as its not New Jersey (Yawn) in the Finals and as long as the Lakers don't come out of the West (which unfortunately looks likely).

If I am a Piston fan, I am rooting hard for the Heat to fall to the 6 seed. The Pistons do not want to play the Hornets in the first round. The Hornets seem to own the Pistons, they are 3-1 aganst them, and 1-0 post Rasheed Wallace trade.

Tonight's Knicks/Hornets game could be interesting. The Knicks are still mathematicly alive for the 5 seed, but they are trying to avoid the 6 seed. As slim chance as they have, the Knicks have to play it out until they are eliminated from the 5 seed, make Miama and New Orleans earn the 5 and 6 seeds. The Heat/Celtics starts at 7 pm et, and the Knicks/Hornets start at 8 pm et.

If the Heat are beating up the Celtics when the Knicks/Hornets game starts, if I am the Knicks, I sit Marbury the entire game, and just let the Hornets win, and stay at 7.

I do hope the Knicks and Celtics win tonight, so at least there would be some drama Wensday night, and it would be fun fliping between the Knicks/Cavs, Heat/Nets, and Hornets/Wizards. And would be interested to see what Lenny Wilkins does, because the Knicks would be stuck between a rock and hard place, the Knicks could win out and be rewarded with the 6 seed.

The Knicks and Heat won tonight. The best the Knicks could do is the 6 seed. I don't want the 6 seed, I hope New Orleans beats Washington, because I want the Knicks to beat Cleveland on Wendsday, even if it pushes them to the 6 seed, because a win would have the Knicks ending the season on 4 game winning streak, establish home court dominence, and get revenge on Cleveland.

Indiana has the best record, but Detroit may be playing the best now. When they recently played Indiana they beat them and played awesome defense.
Anyway the Bucks really blew it. Just needed to win one of thier last 3 games to wrap up the 4th seed and home court advantage in the first round and they couldnt do it. They fell to the 6th seed. Now they play Detroit. They may get swept.

I don't know if you realize this, but basketball is a TEAM sport. Yes, that's right, beleive it or not, there are 12 players on that playoff roster. Weird, huh?

Besides, Kevin Garnett no longer has to be responsible for every point scored down court. If you followed the news, you should know that Latrell Sprewell and Sam Cassell are on the Wolves. Both have NBA Finals experience, and can take a load of pressure without breaking.

Oh my God. Duncan DID NOT win the championship by himself. Garnett is a far more versitile player than Duncan, and in the opinions of MANY, a better player overall.

Yeah I watched the end of that game, and it was a good win. But they almost completely BLEW it. It should give them some momentum into Milwaukee though.

The Bucks are a very dangerous home team. I think whoever wins game 3 is probably going to win the series, especially if the Pistons wins game 3.

But even if the Bucks win both home games and go up 3-1, they still could lose the series, because the Bucks are a bunch of chockers and the Pistons came back from 3-1 last year against the Magic.

For real, man. Hey, is Tony(i?) Kukoc any good? He used to play for the Bulls in the '90's, and I remember playing "NBA Hangtime" on my Super Nintendo and picking him to be on my team. I used him in the first half, then Scottie Pippen in the second half. Anyway, they gave him good stats in that game, and I've always wondered if he was that good in real life. I've watched bits and pieces of a Bucks game, but I haven't seem him do much rather than complain and make faces.

MAN!!! This is the best Mavs game I've seen in a long time! (4-24-04) I love it when we shut down the Kings. Our players were having a good time and playing VERY well and it fun to watch. Our rookie Marquis Daniels got krunk; I love watching him. Najera, whom I usually dislike, played VERY good defense tonight. Lol, our guys jumped on Webber like he was Shaq, hahahaha. I saw that Houston-Los Angeles game (4-25-04) and it looked to me like the Rockets just didn't make their open shots; at least, that's what I saw. I missed the entire OT, though.

And my Mavs last night, (4-26-04) just didn't get sparked up and energized like they did in game 3. The fans were there last night, the Mavs just didn't meet 'em half way. It was so fun watching them last year; they NEVER missed, and I suppose it spoiled me. Was Antawn Jamison good on the Golden State Warriors in the paint, 'cuz he's a demon there, but he ain't got NO range, lol. You know how sometimes they put a mic on a palyer and play it back after a while? They did it once time on Jamison, and one time his back was to the goal, he faked right, and went up and shot on the left while jumping back and he yelled out, "and1 !", hahahahaha.

So you think The Kings might beat the Mavs?

They're both great teams; if either gets going on offense, the other is in big trouble. Dallas must win the rest of the games to avoid elimination.

If Kobe Bryant has to go to court, and play the Spurs on the same day, he will not be effective. One thing to do that aganst the Rockets and Nuggets, but it ain't going to happen with the Spurs, they are too good.

Looks like round 2 will be Wolves vs. Kings. I expect that to be a great series. The season series was great, with the Wolves winning that 3-1, and at least 2 of the games were OT.

Uh.....uh.....man, that sucks....

Dirk had a fairly good look at the 2-point shot that would've won the game by one point and forced Sacramento back to Dallas, but he missed. That was a great game to watch, I must admit. What's up with that Christie dude? He's always getting in fights and doing weird stuff. I know that "I love you" thing he does with his hand and arm is to his wife, but I'm not saying that's weird, but other stuff he does is. And once again, that Brad Miller dude has got a BAAAAAAAAD temper.

I think the Kings are gonna beat Minnesota; I don't want it to happen, but it will.

Kings won 104-98. Mike Bibby had 33 points & there were 5 other Kings players in double figures in scoring. Sam Cassell led Minnesota with 40 points & KG had 16 points. Latrell only had 5 points on 2-14 shooting from the field. Latrell got to do way better than that.

Not quite a slaughter, but Sprewell sucked the entire game. He missed so many easy shots, I wanted to choke him (no pun intended).

Holy mother of God, the Wolves won. We blew a 14 point lead with 4 minutes left. Sound familiar? Went into overtime, and won it on a last second miss by Peja. I've never seen a game like this. I went from happy to complete anger within minutes. Huge win, Wolves up on the series 2-1.

dang i wish i could have stayed up for that game i would have if i wasnt so tired. but since i dont have to work tomorow i aint missing the game

it wasn't unfair that's just the game of Basketball. But i can see this loss being tough for a spurs fan to swallow.

It was such a fight. And we all though we had it won.
It's hard to accept. But I believe that if the Spurs really want to win. They can do it. I have seen them when they are at their best. So there is still hope. I :heart: MY SPURS!!!

Yeah! Detroit wins it all! Billups deserved and got the NBA Finals MVP. Notice the big goofy smile on Rasheed Wallace's face after the game was over; he WANTED this thing BAD. What's up with the players all talking while David Stern, the black guy from ABC, and Larry Brown were all talking about the game when they were giving Detroit the trophy? That white guy on ABC's coverage, not Al Michaels, the one that sits with Byron Scott and the other dude, had a good point. He said, "I'm sick of hearing 'What happened to the Lakers?' I"ll tell you what happened to the Lakers; the Detroit Pistons!" Derek Fisher was ABOUT to cry when they interviewed him after the game, but he finally sucked it up and didn't let the tears come forth. Pistons, you RULE!
