I think it was well duh George Clooney (when young) or Mackenzie Astin (when grown up).

And on the female side of things, I'll say it was Lisa Whelchel, except when she had that bad 80s hair (season 6). Season 6, it was Nancy McKeon all the way.

George Clooney was by far the best looking man ever to appear on The Facts of Life! I was so disappointed when he left the show. I also liked him when he played on Sisters. He just wasn't the same by the time he came on ER. Oh, well. That's life!

For the girls i would have to say from the first season Felice Schacter(Nancy)& Julie ann Haddock(Cindy)

I always thought that Nancy, Lisa and Kim were all extremely pretty.

For the guys, I'd go for Mackensie Astin as a grown-up. He was very cute as an adult in LAST DAYS OF DISCO.

Lisa Welchel was a babe back in 1979, but then the Screen Actors Guild Strike of 1980 sent Lisa back to Texas where she grew fat from eating too much ice cream. Kim Fields had some nice jugs, but she also went in and out of fat stages, and would look delicious one moment, and hideous the next.

i always found blair to be pretty too, but that was her character she was supposed to be beautiful and jo was supposed to be too but she tries not to show it so much as blair and that is why i dont think that jo is pretty... but in some eps you can see she really is pretty...

I must be the only one who never thought Blair was all that fat. There were seasons (season 3 comes to mind) where she was bigger than she usually was, but I never found her to be of a Delta Burke/Ann Wilson size.

Plus above that, whatever "babe qualities" Lisa lost in 80 (and I'm sorry, I thought she was beautiful then, if I was straight I would've gone after her, LOL) she had gained back by 82-83 and never really lost them again. I mean, she was very slim in the final episodes. Not fat at all IMO.

Lisa is an extremely beautiful woman, whether she weighed a little more than usual or not, she definately was attractive nonetheless.

For <b>Looks</b> I would pick LISA WHELCHEL (Blair)

For <b>Personality</b> I would pick KIM FIELDS (Tootie)

I actually think Mindy Cohn was very pretty.Most people don't because she was heavier than the other girls.Natalie looks the best with red hair.That's most definatly her color.She wasn't that heavy either in some shots Kim Fields looks bigger.

I honestly don't think ANYONE on that show was over weight. They simply looked like regular girls...they were realistic.

I think they were all pretty, but in different ways. Blair had that whole pretty blond thing going. Jo had a more subtle (on purpose of course) beauty because she had to play the tom-boy. Natalie was your girl next door pretty and Tootie had the cute *youngest of the group* thing going.

I agree. People took the whole "fats of life" deal with the girls way too far. Mindy was the only overweight one, and by the third/fourth season, she began to slim down, and while she always weighed a little more than the rest, she fit in very well and was never that big IMO.

People take the Lisa Whelchel weight deal the worst. She had her seasons where she wasn't as thin as others, but she was always at the biggest, still an average size for a girl. Plus, look at her the last 2-3 seasons, how can ANYONE say that Blair was "fat" by looking at her then.

I never thought that Kim or Nancy ever had overweight days.

I actually read an article somewhere that Mindy had lost a whole lot of weight, but the producers wanted her to stay bigger, so they dressed her in really baggy clothes (not that the 80's style wasn't baggy enough as is!!!). I think she looks great in the later years and I agree that she looks great with red hair.

For a girl, it would definitely be Jo, (NANCY McKEON). And for the guy, George Clooney. Yeah, Natalie has always been a little fat, but that's her character. Jo is the skinniest one. Tootie started to get big at the end. Blair was just kinda in the middle...

Ok, speaking of weight issues, this has been bothering me. We all know they had their "not-so-skinny" years. But will someone please tell me WHEN Nancy McKeon EVER looked even remotely overweight? The other ones I can see, but her? Come on! Maybe I'm missing something here, but I can't point to any episode where I would say, "huh, Jo's gained a little weight." I just don't think it ever happened.

I like all the characters but I think I would have to pick Nancy for the prettest girl and George for the best looking guy. and I agree with Jofan I think they look realistic, and I think that how they should have it.

Hey! lol She didn't look bad I have the same kinda clothes as her and I think she wore them becuz they were comfortable. Actually flannel shirts and that are very comfy and I really liked the way she dressed! But I'm 11 so no one probably cares anyways. IMO I think she looked good in all the seasons but I think she looked the best in like 2-4 seasons but o well.

I dont think that Nancy ever looked overweight and I think she looked beautiful in the last 2 seasons(not that she didn't in the others but I think her hair looked really pretty when it was long like that) I also think that Nancy was the prettiest b/c she didn't go around flaunting that she thought she was gorgeous like Blair did or trying so hard like Blair did. M/O.
