Guys,

As you know, this was one of the most powerful and controversal episodes of AITF, where Edith is sexually assaulted:

The information below (quote) is taken from TV Tome's description of that episode

www.tvtome.com

Quote:

.....They rush to the oven where the room is just smoke. When she it pulls, she tosses the hot cake in the rapist's face and rushes outside the kitchen door, but he stops her. She kneels him in the groin and exits as soon as possible out of the front door and interupts the party into Archie's arms.

There's a typo in here, but I don't recall Edith hitting the rapist in the groin. Doesn't TV Land just show her rubbing the hot cake in his face and than he just runs out the door? There is a line-edit by TV Land, in an earlier part of the episode where the attacker compliments her scent and Edith says, "That's Lemon Pledge" which TV Land does not include, but do they really cut out the part of Edith kicking the guy?

TV Land showed this whole scene, knee-in-the-groin and all. After Edith pushes the cake in his face, she shoves him towards the door, knees him in the groin, and pushes him outside. I watched this on TiVo last week, and actually replayed that scene. The knee in the groin was obviously fake, but then again, how could you make this look real without really hurting the guy?
