In regards to winning, how do you make out? I'm a very unlucky person. I've never won anything. I used to go to bingo with my mother and never won once. I buy season tickets to three major Mass Lotteries, and nothing. Playing cards, Superbowl squares, never win.

My husband hit the lottery (daily number) for 20 grand five years ago, so I guess that counts. I worked with a woman who won two separate trips in one year....Jamaica and Aruba...she entered a contest through the mail for one, and won the other trip in a drawing at a bridal show.

I've never been lucky in winning anything.

I am the unluckiest bingo player on the planet.

I won a coloring contest once. And 1st place in a speech contest...but blew it at state and didn't make All-State. :crying:

I played poker once at one of the local gaming casinos in San Diego county and won 500 bucks

With those scratch off tickets, I usually do pretty well. There've been a few times where I drove over to Lake Charles, La to play Black Jack with a few friends. Wound up taking home $10,000 one night.

It just depends. Some days I'm lucky, other days not so lucky.

i would have to say i'm pretty unlucky, the MOST i've ever won in a lottery is five bucks (which i then blew on MORE lottery tickets),

i'm also pretty unlucky about which line to pick (grocery, bank, etc), when to turn on the tv, or start flipping channels, who to trust, which unlabeled button to press, and which bus to ride.

I've played poker a few times recently, and I have won only once, but I think I've done pretty well when I play. I've lasted longer in some games than others, and if I can outlast other more skilled players, then it's a good game for me.

As for my luck with the ladies, well, I think it's no secret there...

I suck.

I dont really win that often, but I dont play that often either. I play cards though @ Amandas, and I do win a lot, but for each time I win, I lose.

Other than gambling, I consider myself a very lucky person. Things will happen to me that will make me all mad and Ill think the world is over, but then.. a bunch of things will happen that will make my day. I manage to get things I want that make me feel lucky. Like say for instance.. Clay Aiken is going on tour this summer. So far he's only going to 4 places, but one of the places is Gilford NH.. I feel extremely lucky that he's coming so close that I can go, because other than that, the next closest place was in PA! I feel lucky for being able to see the things I see and such. Another example was Britney Spears. She was coming to Manchester April 6th and the tickets went on sale December 4th I believe it was. Well, due to the fact it was right before Christmas, I wasnt able to get tickets for me and Becky til March. I knew when I was going to get them a few weeks ago that the seats would be CRAP. But then one night I was watching Conan and a commercial went on. She was adding another show in June in Mass and the tickets were going on sale that Saturday!! I felt lucky that I was actually going to be able to get great seats, and I did.:D Little things like these make me feel like I always somehow get my way when at times I feel like nothing good will ever come out of things.

Well...I suck @ gambling...And besides, I'm not legal (not in my state, anyway...you have to be 21 to gamble in the casinos legally) yet. I could just go to Montana or Minnesota and gamble, since their legal age is 18.

Anyway...Otherwise...Yes, I get lucky a lot. Take Vicki Lawrence for instance. It was almost right around this time last year that I found out she was coming to my town to do her show...I thought I wasn't going at first (she played in my town on May 9th and 10th, and I had a graduation open house at my dad's in the other town on the 10th, due to my senior trip taking place the next weekend), but then we worked it out so that I could go to the May 9th show...OK, so take 3 weeks off of that...I went in and got tix 3 weeks before she came, and I managed to snag really great seats! It's a good thing I did....her show was totally sold out when I went. :D And I got to meet her afterwards, to boot, because one of my friends I took along had a connection with the lady who got Vicki to come play...

AND...I am going to see Vicki again (two times!) in October! :triplets And what's even better is, my interpreter for my college classes has connections with this lady who is behind the event Vicki is playing at...She's going to be playing during the Norsk Høstfest, a HUGE Scandvanian (sp?) festival...so yeah. My interpreter is going to be able to swing FREE tix AND backstage passes, to boot! And they're going to be great seats, to boot! Ahhhhhhh, I can't wait.

There are also other things...but I need not list them here. :D

Me too. Let's form a support group for the date-deprived. :D

Actually, I prefer the single scene right now. ;)

I've won 10 awards over 4 years at my old school (including 4 in my senior year) . The school softball team that I played on as outfielder the first year and starting catcher the following two have won undefeated championships all three years I played and have not lost a single game since the Championship game in 1998. The softball season started again recently but I don't know if they have won or lost a game.

I won the election for Student Body President my senior year in November 2002.

That about sums it up.

For years I was so unlucky, but in the last year I've won some things, like Neil Diamonds tickets, a christmas tree, a couple of slot machine winnings ( total $260.00 ). But lately it's back to being unlucky. I know of two people that I worked with that won the lottery, my parents won season tickets to the Dodger games years ago, my brother has won contests and $400.00 at a bar. Winning something, anything is so fun.

Luck had nothing to do with these accomplishments Brian. It had everything to do with your determination and talent. :)
