Is it me or is the part in the episode "To Joey With Love" where Danny wants to sing in Jesse's band very similar to the earlier episode "Old Brown Eyes." They did seem to use a lot of the same jokes, especially "spic and span" and the nickname Mildew. Somehow, I think the writers were running out of ideas at that point and started using plots that have already been used. Just thought I'd comment on that.

They also re-used the idea about Michelle being afraid to go to kindergarten. Stephanie also didn't want to go.

Also, did you notice every time Joey liked a girl, someone disapproved, and he copped an attitude?

1. When he liked Danny's sister.
2. When he wanted to marry a woman he just met on a dating service video.
3. Roxie, the comedian.

Yeah, I guess these plots were similar, but I still think "Old Brown Eyes" and "To Joey With Love" were the most similar to each other considering they used the same jokes. I think they should have done things a little differently.

When I read your topic thread, the first episodes I thought you were going to say were the ones in season 2 when Stephanie marries Harry and the season 6 episode when Michelle marries Steve. The similiarites I found between these two are:

-their "wedding" dresses were nearly the same
-their friends were present at their "weddings"
-both grooms had to go home to be on time for their mother's dinner (were they both meatloaf?)

Anyway, I just think these two are similar in these situations. ;)

Yeah, that's another one. I guess we could probably make a list of episodes that are similar to each other. It is hard to remember everything that happened when a show is on the air for eight years.

The eoisode where everyone wanted to buy the new house except Michelle was redone a few years later on Step By Step, which was another Miller-Boyett show.

Yeah, SBS also used that. But even Blossom, did that. They tried to scare the buyers off but in Blossoms case they failed (the kids) cause the series was cancelled. That was 1995 and all the 3 early 90´s series was cancelled, FH, Blossom and Empty Nest (according to what Tv Guide wrote in that year "three of the most beloved series"). 1995, a goodbye year for sitcoms, just like 2004, know when Friends and Frasier goes off the air.

Even the Brady kids, after they complained they wanted a bigger house, didn't want to move and tried to scare buyers away.

Yeah. I remember that was the final "Step by Step" episode. That show also used the "This isn't for homework" joke witch actually originated on Full House.
