In the opening credits of Odd Couple seasons 1-3 Oscar and Felix and a bunch of other people are in a park. They are all lifting up one knee and then putting their leg down and lifting another knee. What's that a dance or exercise?

I think its some dance where you dance around the maypole or something like that. I must admit it does look kind of fruitty!
