The original openings of I Love Lucy, as you know, showed stick figures of Lucy and Ricky, as a cartoon. In 1958 came the famous heart opening? Which one do you like better?

The cartoon openings are so much better. They are very interesting and I am glad TVLand brought them back.

I like the heart opening because it's what I'm used to seeing, but the cartoons are fascinating to watch.

I prefer the cartoon opening. The Lucy and Ricky stick figures are so cute!

But i've said this before, we've seen the heart for so long it's hard to accept anything else.

Both are great but I think I like the stick figures better than the heart thingy. :p

I like the heart opening, just because I grew up with it and it's what I'm used to. The cartoon opening is cute too though.

I like both the heart and stick figure openings a lot. Out of the two, I would want to see the heart opening more frequently since I was raised on it. On the other hand, The stick figure opening would be great on special Lucy occasions such as her birthday, the show's birthday, ect [at least to me anyways].

I don't really have favorite . . . I like them both the same.

I like the cartoon; I think it's cuter than the heart and I had never seen it until just recently (not that recently):crazy:

I like the animated characters but after a while of that I like to see the hearts :heart: .

I like the Lucy-Desi characters better. The way they switched the opening cartoons each week reminded me of the alternating Dick Van Dyke Show openings.

Yes, the heart opening is classic, but the characters was the original... and IMO, the original is always the best!

The heart, because now that tvland has the cartoon openings, I don't see it anymore.

My vote is for the heart opening.

I voted for the heart which Incidently was created in 1957 when they started showing "I Love Lucy" on Wednesday nights in this area. Also, I'm more familar with this openinig.

However, I like the cartoon opening also because it brings back very early memories for me and my family just like the "Lucy in Connecticut Opening" that aired on Sunday nights showing the episodes after they moved to Connecticut.

I like the animated openings. Maybe for the heart was seen for sooo long. It is just a change.

with the cartoon openings there is more of a variety, the heart is good to but it just gets annoying after a while.
