There was a news story about the taping of "Frasier's" finale on my Road Runner home page this morning (in the "Entertainment" section).....
The article noted that one of the show's creators, the late David Angell (who also co-created "Wings" and died tragically in one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center on 9/11) was remembered during the evening....his sister was in the studio audience and was introduced.
Whether you're a "Frasier" fan or not (and there are BOTH here on the message board), you almost HAVE to feel sad about the series ending because of it's "Wings" connections (both behind and in front of the camera).
Although "Frasier" doesn't have the STRONG association with "Wings" that it has with "Cheers", we all know that there IS a definite tie-in there....and in some strange way, the thought of "Frasier" ending makes it feel a little like "Wings" is ending again too! :(
