It's like outside of the city. G-Force Glockstar 03-24-2004, 10:31 PM Oh. I think they live in the city. swedeace 03-25-2004, 01:49 PM It looks like they live in the city because of the house shots in the neighborhood and in the picnic. To go into the suburbs and even in the ranch (the horse episode in season two), it seemed like a bit of ways off for them. There was one episode where Becky said she missed being in Nebraska, so I am assuming she means because of its ranch-like quality with all the animals she owned. tgc225 03-25-2004, 02:52 PM Definitely the city, and more specifically, the Pacific Heights neigborhood. Ariel shots seem to point to Pacific Heights, Joey says he walks Comet to Coit Tower, in Comet's Excellent Adventure, Michelle walked Comet in Pacific Heights. ~Tropical Punch 19~ 03-25-2004, 03:46 PM Well, I mean did they live in the heart of the city or on the outskirts? Blossom 03-25-2004, 04:29 PM I think they live pretty close to the city. Not in a real suburb but not downtown either. tgc225 03-25-2004, 04:42 PM I made a quick map Pacific Heights is located pretty close to the dowtown area. I pointed out the centra downtown area (the one they show of the skyscrapers during the show), but the actual downtown extends past the area I drew a box around. I'll add more details to the map soon. ~Tropical Punch 19~ 03-25-2004, 08:29 PM Okay thank you so much! I think I have a better idea now. Is the purple line that extends to the ocean with a little island on it the Oakland bridge? tgc225 03-25-2004, 08:36 PM Yep, the line that extends out on the north-east side is the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, usually called Bay Bridge for short. The line on the north is the Golden Gate Bridge, that's the bridge you see in the introduction. |
