In the episode called i believe "The Subway Story" where Felix and Oscar get trapped in a stalled subway car with alot of different people; i read on a TV Trivia board a fact about the episode that i have never ever seen!! Felix helps a dog deliver a littler of puppies (we all know that). But there is a scene right before the closing credits that takes place about a month later in the episode. Felix comes home with a puppy from the litter as a present for him helping in the delivery. He names the puppy "Yawbus"...subway spelled backwards. Does anyone else remember this?

I remember that. The reason he called the puppy Yawbus was because he'd been trying to amuse the stranded passengers in a variety of lame and silly ways, one of which was saying everyone's name backwards. That was one of my favorite episodes.

I don't remember that scene. Maybe WPIX(my local affiliate) edits the show.

Yeah, It was probably cut out in syndication

*sighs* Boy I sure do wish there was some way we could see these wonderful episodes of "Odd Couple" uncut, and in some kid of format that would allow us to easily access certain episodes with the push of a botton, and then view them in all thier unedited digitally remastered glory...

In the subway ep Oscar claims to have lived in NYC his whole life. Earlier eps he came from both New Jersey and some small town. He also claims inthis ep he was never a visitor to the Statue of LIberty. A couple of years he took a princess there.
