You may not belive it, but they did try and make another spin-off of DS in 1984. It was going to be a show about Kimberly, who is in school in Paris, and how her life is without her father and brothers. I think it was going to be called "Paris Love". It never aired or anything though.

Where did you hear that Andrew? I'd like to see the url of the site that mentions it if you know or just where you read that if it was an article. I would doubt the information as Dana Plato was pregnant in 1984 and fired from the show in 1984-1985.

There is one known spin-off attempt though. I have a book called Unsold Television Pilots 1955 through 1989 by Lee Goldberg and they list the episode Almost American (aka Night School) which aired on 4/1/81. The summary is "Maureen McNamara is a teacher who teaches immigrants about America so they can pass their naturalization tests. A similiar concept, What A Country! lasted a season in first-run syndication in 1986".

It may be online, but this was in a past entertainment weekly magazine, that I won off of a website. It's very small, I think it was before Dana died. I think that on the cover was something like: Where Are They Now? TV Starlets.
