I heard that on the radio this morning. Travel Leisure rated cities on a bunch of things- Philly was 3rd for site-seeing and dead last for people's appearance...apparently tourists don't look at the people??? I know a whole lot of people who are sending hate mail... :lol:

I'm outside the city but it's still pretty insulting.

I liked Indianapolis. :o

I know there was a lot of women in Hartford, Connecticut who was COYOTES. PLus I saw two females this morning on the way to work who looked like MOVIE STARS!!!!! So there are different some powerful looking females in Philly.

Well I think it's better than say, being voted one of the top 10 fattest cities in the country, (Arlington, TX).

PHilly is ugly. We in NYC refer to that place as Filthydelphia. The streets are small. Its looks like NY in Gangs OF New York. Is that place behind in the times...? All its missing are the old street lamps and a wooden post to leave your horse..*l*

Residents call it that too...Filthydelphia or The City To Watch Your Back ("the city that loves you back")

I take it you havent visited the areas that DO have hitching posts and street lamps. It's called history. We also have this old bell...I wonder why we keep that around, it's broken and so behind the times... :rolleyes:

To me, HARLEM IS CRUSTY!!!!!

Philadelphia is GORGEOUS...espicially the historic parts...

I used to have family in Philadelphia; it was pretty bad in the downtown area, but nothing to compare to some places in Los Angeles.

THEY have started to rebuild harlem. Mind you..it did look that way. Certain parts still do.....glad I dont live in harlem.
