Here in Canada it's on at 11PM every night and 10:30 AM every weekend. So i'm in bed at 11 and forget about her on weekends, thank God for those DVD's!

Yes, with this new schedule the only time I can possibly watch is on weekends. :(

And what is the new schedule? It wasn't on Saturday morning I don't think. Or last Thursday if I remember correctly. I thought that was the new schedule?

Well then, that should raise her popularity levels with night shift workers and insomniacs!

I've heard that ILL is getting bad ratings on TVLand! If this is true the it's probably because of those bad time slots. They just want to use this as an excuse to put some other show in her place.

As much as i would HATE the greatest TV show ever to be taken off, it would be nice to see another Lucy series take it's place, EVENTUALLY, like The Lucy show or Here's lucy.

That would be wondaful! But didn't they say they were never gonna show TLS or HL on TVLand. I wish they would though cause I've never seen a HL show in my life!:(

Noooooooooo! If they added them I think that would be good..but taking ILL off the air..that's just..scary. I think it would end the Lucy-Desi association. *dies*

Yes, I agree. The other shows are nice, but ILL is the best and should never be replaced.

Currently now I am seeing the Hollywood episodes which I find aren't as good. I am waiting for Fred and Lucy to get on the Staten Island ferry again and sleepy lucy getting her passport

Bad time slots, overplay, or the fact that TVL plays the same 4 sitcoms over and over again and they pissed a lot of people off.

Hello...no more Sanford and Son!

I first saw it at college because the PAX station there played it at 11:30am. But that's it. And that was way back in 1998.

It amazes me that it has any ratings at all, in those time slots and with everyone getting the DVD's and those same clips shown all the time on documentaries, they're making people sick of the show. ALTHOUGH, it's 50 years for me and i'm still not sick of it! LOL!

I have pretty harsh feelings for that network. I HATE and I mean HATE the way they edited the shows. Leaving out parts to have more time for commercials as someone said earlier to pay for "NEO-Classic" shows. I think they could do without showing All in the Family and Sanford and Son Twelve times a night.

I miss the old lineup ten years ago when they had The Lucy Show, Get Smart, Green Acres etc. Wasn't crazy about Alfred Hitchcock presents, and when Tv Land was new they had The Addams Family and all those "wondaful" shows. But no more. I think they should have stuck to the original classics, and then just expanded and had a TV LAND2 and add all those "Neo-Classics" To that network. Because I have no problem with the Neo-classics like The Facts of Life, Mr. Belvedere, ALF [would be nice to see again, like they did for Totally 80's week] gimme a Break, Major Dad, Full House, Empty Nest, Maude, and Cheers. Heck these are shows I grew up with as well. They should have their own Network so the really classic shows have a way to be shown. They had Here's Lucy on Nick at Nite once, back in 1995 it was on for the week of Valentines day. they showed an edited version of Lucy and Desi a Home Movie, I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, TLDCH, and Life with Lucy.

This is what it was like for ME as a kid. Take a year like 1962, I Love Lucy reruns three times a day at least, The Lucy show in The USA, in Canada, even in French, three times a week, Lucy movies on all the time, then she did quiz shows, talk shows, many appearances on other people's shows, specials, Lucy articles in magazines every single week, and the Lucy Desi comedy hour on every summer from June to August, once a week, God those were the days.

N@N used to be great. And so did TVLand. But they dumped Fantasy Island one day before an ep I wanted to tape. THAT was the last straw.

I can remember when Nick at Nite first premeired. Saturday night Live was on, and so was Laugh-In. The Patty Duke Show, Dobie Gillis, My Three Sons, and The Dick Van Dyke Show. They had a lot of variety comedy on there. This was way back though.
They had some good shows for a while there. Too many shows is the problem. Everybody has their favorites. I have other favorites besides Lucy. I Love Lucy, she heads my list, really, But I like shows I remember watching as a kid, and the shows which are now considered neo-classics, and people do, I am sure, write Nick at Nite and request things, they get petitions together and so fourth. I have noticed that they rotate the shows. Because Green acres is coming back to TV Land and this has been like the fourth time they have brought it back, so who knows. That is why I think they should just expand, Nickelodeon, the childrens/preteen network has three channels, if you have cable, Nick East Nick West, GAS (Games and Sports), and Noggin. Why can't they just have Tv Land 2? Seperate the two Tv Lands, One for Neo-Classics, the other for Original classics, and have Nick at Nite for whatever. Just a thought.
I think the reason may be now, that Nick at Nite doesn't show Lucy so much, is because they have the DVD series to compete with. Who is going to watch it on the network when they can just pop in their fav episode anytime?
Although Seinfeld, is on a multitude of networks, I think they have a DVD series coming out though. Just like with Friends, I have noticed that some networks took them off their multiblocks, because Friends has Dvd and tape sets.
