Not only does season two appear to be in the works, it looks like Warners is in negotiations with the cast to have them contribute to the special features.

This is great news. I always thought if season two made it out then season three would be a certainty. It looks like it's going to happen.

Too bad Alan Hale Jr. and Jim Backus aren't with us anymore. They would have been a hoot to have on these DVDs.

Isn't it hard to believe that Natalie Schaefer would have been 104 if she were still alive??

I agree that the orignal actors doing a commentary for some of the 2nd season eps is certainly a plus.

Yes that's good news. Having seen each episode a thousand times, I basically bought Season One because I hadn't seen the Pilot and it was such a good price. I've really enjoyed watching the episodes at my leisure though, and would probably now buy season Two and Three. I just hope these cast extras don't inflate the price dramatically. Probably not. They'll probably be some consistency. They need a replacement for the pilot and first episode commentary extras.

A cast commentary (on the show in general) over a favorite episode would be nice as well.

Excellent! I am almost definitely gonna get it. And I would love to have a commentary. (I wish they'd had more commentaries on the first one.)

It will also be neat to see Gilligan's Island's colored eps. on DVD too.
