I love the show but I dunno, something about Wally just really annoys me. His laugh maybe? Is it just me and everyone else loves him?

I liked the Wally character, but yes, his laugh was annoying. The "eat all the time" thing got a little nutty at times too, but all in all, you knew he was a nice guy. He really should have been Dave's friend, not Rick's though since he was a lot older than Rick. Guess it was a matter of when he came on the show. The character was based on the Nelson's real-life neighbor.

Of all the Nelson friends, who was most annoying? I really disliked Clara Randolph. That voice still makes me cringe.

Who was your favorite friend? I liked Robert Shore, whatever character she played from Roberta to Joyce. She looked good with Rick.

LOL, actually...Clara and Joe! Despite the voice ;) Actually, it was cute. I liked it :o

I'm more of an Ozzie/Harriet fan than Ricky or Dave so apart from Wally and Kris I really can't remember many of their friends. Apart from a really vague "and that other guy" :p I guess if the episode looks to be entirely Rick and co I end up switching off so that's how I don't remember who anyone else is. I much preferred the earlier episodes with the boys at home, or if they have to be later ones, then at least with the parents as the focal point :D

I don't understand how/why Wally became a friend of Rick's. I've only seen the episodes on DVD so there are lots of things about the show I don't know. In the Kappa Sigma Party episode Wally is one of David's guests at the party, which presumably would have made him apart of David's fraternity. He should have graduated by the time Rick entered college! Was this just a guest spot?

I never had a problem with Wally; I liked all the characters except for the bratty little neighbor kids who showed up in the last few years (the "Tigers").

Wally, if I recall correctly, was "Wally Dipple" for a short while, then mysteriously became "Wally Plumstead".
