i saw part of it the other night... "you shouldnt have buried me... IM NOT DEAD!!!" omg! im scared. hahaha and when that lady found her son drowned in the water bed she gingerly placed her hands on her head and screeched like an old lady. lmao. yeah... it was pretty lame and unrealistic. i like the part when the nurse turns into freddy though, it kind of freaked me out. :grr:

No they die, even in the first film. In part 2, the new family moves into the house from the original, and the son and his girlfriend find Nancy's diary (the final girl from the first film) and in it Nancy talks about seeing her friends killed.
The ending in the first film was basically tacked on because the producers wanted a final jump scare.

I've enjoyed all the films, though part 6 and Freddy vs Jason are my least favorite.
