I have ALWAYS thought that Shirley MacLaine would make a great Endora. I even remember saying that a few years ago in an AOL classic TV chat. The host at the time said Shirley wouldn't be good for the part. HA! I was surprised to read today that she signed on.

I think that Joan Collins should play Endora. She was great in Dynasty as a bitch... and believe... I hate Endora!!! So I want to hate Endora with relish...

Roseanne... I hate that woman. Ever since that National Anthem moment. I hate her.

Somebody on the IMDB board had these suggestions for other characters, and I think they work:

Aunt Clara - Betty White
Gladys Kravitz - Stockard Channing
Larry Tate - Martin Mull

No, no, no... I can see Betty White playing Aunt Clara... she seems perfect. Gladys and Larry are too hard to cast. I still say Bill Paxton.

I would like to see them try and get someone who resembles and acts like the original Gladys Kravitz ( Alice Pierce ). I think she did a better job with the part.

I like the Idea of Shirley McClaine as Endora.

Betty White would be great as Aunt Clara.

I still don't like the idea of Will Farrell as Darrin, I wish Jim Carrey would have been cast.

Herbie J. Pilato thinks that Jim Carrey would steal every scene in the movie. Nicole Kidman is pertty powerful and Shirley MacLaine is pretty big actress. I want to know what made Jim Carrey decline to do the picture.

How about Crispin Glover as Darrin Stevens?

I read somewhere that Nicole Kidman is not doing the role of Samantha, so who will take her part?

By the Way, Larry Miller would make a PERFECT Larry Tate, because it seems as in every movie he's in, he's a big buttkisser.

I think you are talking about the April Fools joke they played on all of us. Nicole is still going to play Samantha.

They did this on Harpies Bizarre.com

I'm boycotting the movie for reasons already known. The movie should be renamed to "this is how we don't want the movie Bewitche dto be."

I totally agree with you, this is making me mad. I was so looking forward to the movie when I first heard the news about it being made, Now I am sick to my stomach that it is straying from the series. I was hoping that they would make the set of the house the same and have a real good time with this movie.

I don't think this Nora person is a fan of the show and I don't think she understands how the fans feel. I just hope that Nicole Kidman and the other cast memebers for the movie don't agree with the script as of now.

NICOLE AND CAST AS OF NOW FOR THE BEWITCHED MOVIE PLEASE TALK HER OUT OF THIS MADNESS!!!!!

A Bewitched Fan Till The End,
Jeannieboi

I think that Heather Matarazzo bears a pretty strong resemblance to the late Alice Pearce. I was watching the movie Sorority Boys (I do not recommended this movie) recently and was amazed at how much this acctress resembled the first Mrs. Kravitz. Of course I think she is too young to play the part but she really does look like a younger version of the classic TV actress.
