View Full Version : Do you have the DVDs?? barwars 03-21-2004, 12:27 PM ?? barwars 03-21-2004, 12:29 PM I have both seasons on DVD.... and Id have to say that Season 2 is better. Niles has a MUCH bigger part in Season 2 than in Season 1. And everyone else has just as big parts as in the first season. Brian Damage 03-21-2004, 01:14 PM No, I'm a loser :( BebeLilithFan154 03-21-2004, 01:56 PM I have both- but had you asked me this a week ago, I would have said only season 1. I like both as well, but season 2 is just a tad bit better. I just watched Adventures in Paradise part 2 and Frasier jumping on the bed and banging it against the wall was quite possibly the most hilariois thing ever lol barwars 03-21-2004, 02:27 PM Originally posted by BebeLilithFan154 I have both- but had you asked me this a week ago, I would have said only season 1. Joker85 03-21-2004, 09:39 PM I have both seasons and anxiously await the 3rd coming out in May. Season 2 however, is by far my favorite of all. It has most all of my favorite episodes, including Adventures in Paradise, An Affair to Forget and the Innkeepers. ClassicComedyFan2 03-22-2004, 01:30 PM I own both Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD and have over 5 tapes of Frasier recorder from syndication and NBC first-run episodes. I am looking forward to Frasier Season 3...but must save money for Star Trek Voyager Season 2 first... Jokerette 04-14-2004, 09:02 AM I have season one and am getting season two soon. I hope they release all 11 seasons but I fear it could take years. barwars 04-14-2004, 10:57 AM Nice avatar Dream Sequence.... The Goonies is one of my favorite movies. Jokerette 04-14-2004, 08:20 PM Thanks, barwars. Do you have the Goonies DVD? The cast commentary where they all reminisce about the past is priceless. Martha Plimpton especially is incredible cool and very funny. wayman 04-14-2004, 08:27 PM I have both the 1st and 2nd seasons and I plan to get the remaining seasons when they come out. barwars 04-14-2004, 10:12 PM Originally posted by Dream Sequence Thanks, barwars. IMO.... the best commentary Ive ever heard, and the only commentary Ive ever seen. Rhiannon 04-18-2004, 01:10 PM I don't have the DVDs but I am going to borrow my friend's :D Rub 04-28-2004, 11:20 PM I have both seasons on DVD and wish they would expidite their release. I understand they have to spread them out to optomize sales, but it's still a pity. IMO, S2 is better than S1, which is abnormal since in most series, their second season suffers when a lot of the ideas from the original premise have been exhaused in the first season. With Frasier, however, the writers made decisions to shift the premise a bit to include more of the secondary characters, their interactions with Frasier, and some of their own subplots which was a definite plus, IMHO. Anyway, the S2 finale as well as the Bebe Glazer episodes are some of my favorites ("Save me a muffin, muffin"). Ant-Lox 09-04-2004, 10:21 AM I own season 1, and I can't stop watching it, that means I have to get season 2 soon... Ant-Lox 09-18-2004, 10:36 AM Originally posted by Ant-Lox I own season 1, and I can't stop watching it, that means I have to get season 2 soon... WOW i only said that two weeks ago and now i have seasons 2 & 3.... Moondance 09-19-2004, 02:35 PM I love "Dinner at Eight" from Season One... ********** Frasier: Daphne, this is my brother Niles. Niles sees Daphne for the first time, and is pleasantly surprised, to say the least. Daphne just smiles at him. Niles: Hmm... you're Daphne? Daphne: Why, yes I am. Niles: Well, I... Niles goes over to her eagerly, and they shake hands; he holds on, a little lost for words. Niles: When Frasier told me he'd hired an Englishwoman, I pictured someone a little more... not quite so... you're Daphne? Daphne: It's nice to meet you. *********** I loved that scene!:D - Not my all-time favorite, but a fave! |
