Okay upon reading this article I HAD to  at this statement:

"Whenever you're dealing with talent, you always want to be extra careful,"

Since when does being a ditzy blond heiress take talent?

Anyhow at least she's okay. I don't like her but I dont wish her to be hurt.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton was thrown from a horse on Friday during production of a sequel to the hit Fox series "The Simple Life" and was airlifted to a hospital on Florida's Gulf Coast, producers said.

Hilton, 23, "did not sustain any major injuries" and was later released from the hospital in Tampa where she had been taken for observation, according to a statement from 20th Century Fox Television.

A spokesman for the TV studio, Chris Alexander, said Hilton was walking around after falling off the horse, "but to err on the absolute side of caution, we made a decision to medevac her" to a hospital.

"Whenever you're dealing with talent, you always want to be extra careful," he added. No further information was immediately available on her medical condition.

Alexander said the willowy blond socialite was riding a horse on location at a ranch in Hernando County, Florida, when the accident occurred.

Production began March 11 on a second edition to the Fox reality hit "The Simple Life," the fish-out-of-water show starring Hilton and her friend, Nicole Richie, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie (news).

In the first installment of the series, the two left behind the trappings of their pampered lifestyles to work and mingle with ordinary folks in rural Arkansas. In "The Simple Life 2," the pair were to travel across the southern United States in an Airstream trailer.

Alexander said Richie was with Hilton when the accident occurred, and he believed she traveled with her to the hospital.

Hilton also made headlines recently when a graphic video of her having sex with her boyfriend surfaced on the Internet.

OMGoodness.. :eek2:

The only talent she has is looking directly at the camera and cocking her head to the side.......... And even then she'll need surgery when she gets older for a crooked neck...

Paris and Nikki Hilton are probably my two least favorite people in the world. Still I'm glad that she isn't hurt.

I'm glad that she wan't hurt but it sure surprised me that she wasn't because Paris Hilton is way to skinny. She needs to gain some weight. I woudnt be surpised if she doesn't weigh 100 pds.!~

As much as I hate Paris Hilton, I can honestly say I have been in that position. I was only 9 years old and on a family vacation in South Dakota I also got thrown from a horse! It wasn't fun, but I also was very lucky because all I got was this HUGE bruise on my left thigh. The horse just wouldn't stop and it ran off- then I just fell off. That was probably the worst injury I ever had, even though it was just a bruise, but my parents didn't take me to the hospital and the bruise did heal! So, I feel bad if that happens to anybody!

Why do the "talented" get special attention? Are they that much clutzier or something?

Next stop the glue factory. Not really, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had a camera crew and Paris and Nicole with the horse at the glue factory.
