What was your favorite touching moment on Happy Days? Mine weas in the last episode where Howard makes that speech at Joanie's wedding.

Mine is when Fonzie prays in the hospital after Richie's accident.

It would have to be something involving the friendship between Fonzie and Richie.

Fonzie's prayer at the hospital. But also the Christmas one in which his dad shows up with a present.

So, it's a tie. Fonzie and Richie in the hospital and the speech Howard made at Joanie's wedding.

My scene would have to be when Richie and Fonzie say good-bye when Richie is leaving for California.

i think the most touching was "hot stuff" . the parts when they were all sitting in the car wathcing arnolds burn, n the fonz looked so tired n old (or u could see what he would look like when he gotter) but still looked good. it was a huge disaster, arnolds meant so much 2 the characters n the viewers who watched the show, it was symbolic. same w/ fonz n the jukebox scene. im trying 2 write a song called the night arnolds burned down.
and then inside arnolds after when they were looking at the ruins, n the jukebox was wrecked, n potsie coudnt see his initials, n ralph n the piano n mrs.c trying 2 clean up. also when fonz gave al the money he;d saved since he was 6, that was so sweet n kind of him, altho he did become partners. not many would do that.
also- fonz's speech abt just delivering the baby to richie, and his speech (havent seen it tho, just read abt it) with richie when he left. it was touching too when fonz prayed after richies accidnet. n when he was taling 2 richie, in such a soft, heartbroken voice, n stayed all night. but the saddest of all was when arnolds burned.

Oh, without a doubt it's the final episode where Howard makes the speech at Joanie and Chachi's wedding reception. It gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it.

Happy Days, in fact, had many touching moments throughout its run, but the two that come in mind the most are . . .

#1) Richie Almost Dies (episode #106). Richie gets severally injured from a motorcycle crash and is sent immediately to the hospital. While in the hospital, Richie appears to be in critical condition. When The Fonz realizes that Richie is on the brink of death, he gets emotional and teary-eyed and begins praying to God.
Personally, I think this is the MOST touching moment of the series.

#2) The Fonz Goes Blind (episode #119). The Fonz gets hit in the head by Al at Arnolds, which causes him to go blind. Life suddenly stops for Fonzie when he realizes his sight is gone for good. He becomes dependent on the Cunningham family which causes his best friend, Richie, to become upset. Richie makes a stand and leaves Fonzie all alone in his apartment. Later on, sparks fly between them.

Episode 106 where Richie's in the hospital, and Fonzie cries, the episode where Fonzie adopts Danny, the episode where Fonzie thinks his grandma is senile, the episode where he finds out his father is dead, the episode where he thinks the waitress in the diner that he goes to with his auto mechanics class is his mother, and the one when Richie leaves for California.

All though there were many touching episodes, I'd have to go with the final episode. That's one of those episodes that I can just cry everytime I see it. Help me....

The Last Episode is my most favorite.

I agree about the first episode, it's just something about seeing the "First" episode that always makes it feel like the first time.

The last episode is always touching. Also, Richie and Fonzie's scene at the door on "Richie Comes Home, Pt. 2".

I THINK THE MOST TOUCHING MOMENT WAS WHEN RICHIE SAYS GOOD BYE TO FONZIE IN WELCOME HOME PT2

THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST UNDERATED EPISODE.IT WAS THE LAST TIME THE ORIGINAL GUYS RICHIE, RALPH, POTSIE,AND THE FONZ WERE TOGETHER .AND THE WHOLE SCREEN WRITER THING WITH RON HOWARD HOW COOL WAS THAT .PLUS WHEN RICHIE AND FONZIE SAY GOODBYE THAT GOT TO BE UP THERE AS ONE OF THE MOST TOUCHING MOMENTS.

When the guy at the adoption agency said: Here's your son and opened the door and Danny (that was his name right? :p ) stood there smiling
When Heather got hit by the car and Flip came over to apologize
When Joanie ran away and Richie and her had their talk at Arnold's and Joanie said how she was tired of only being known as Richie's sister and when they were leaving and Richie callled goodbye to Al and Al said: Who's talking? and Richie said: Joanie's brother. That one gets me every time. :)

WHEN FONZ AND RICHIE SAY GOODBYE WELL ACTED WELL DONE.

I was moved by the last scene in the 30 year reunion in which Henry bangs the wall and he and Ron leave together.

I really am moved in the episode in which Al asks Chachi's widowed mom to marry him and she accepts. It reminds me that older folks (like me) still have some hope.
