Which of Ward's sons looks more like him? I used to see that Wally looked like him, but now I realize more of a resemblance between Ward and Beaver.

What do you think?

I think Wally resembles Ward more and Beav resembles his mom. Sometimes they have the same smile.
Wally has a suave quality like Ward. I think June has a silly side we don't get to see like Beav.

Wally and Ward share the same facial structure. They had smaller heads, while June and Beaver had rounder faces. But, Beaver looks just like Ward.

I voted for neither. Wally looks a lot like June. Beaver doesn't look like either of his parents. And Ward doesn't look like either of his sons. Wally is blonde and light skinned. Beaver has dark brown hair and freckles. Ward is tanned.

Uncle Billy gave Beaver a silver dollar for looking like Ward. I agree with him.

People don't have to be related to resemble one another.

I think Tony Dow looks like he could be Hugh Beaumont's son. They looked alike.:talk:

I have to agree on that. They looked as if they could have been related in real life. I don't think either of the boys look like Barbara B.:talk:

Funny, I voted for Beaver, but I used to think Wally resembled Ward more. In those days, some people thought the first born son on a TV show should look like the father.

Beaver looked just like Ward. I saw the second picture on the sitcoms online Beaver site and Beaver and Ward looked like the same person at different ages.

All of my friend's parents always said about me "He looks just like his mother". People still tell me this. But there are a couple of people who think I resemble my dad. At my dentist appointment, which my mom's mom took me to, the dentist said, "I can see the family resemblance, especially the eyes."

Here's a story to share. Today, while visiting with a neighbor, the topic of family resemblance came up. She brought over her 2 year old baby for me to see. I said to her, "Does she take after you or her father". She said "She looks just like me, but my oldest daughter looks like her dad."

I said, "My brother and I both take after our mother." She said, "Definitely! But you look more like her than your brother does, but he doesn't look like his dad either." I always thought he did.

Off topic, but my dad's 8th grade graduation picticture looks like Beaver Cleaver. The haircut and everything! My dad didn't grow up to look like him though.

My Uncle Larry looked like Beaver when he was a kid :p :rolleyes:

Another reason I say Beaver is because when Aunt Martha said that Wally looked like a Bronson, Ward looked like he didn't care. But when she said Beaver did, Ward rolled his eyes and changed the subject.

In my new avatar, you can definitely see that Beaver takes after Ward. I agree with the poster who said Wally looks a lot like June. In this picture, it is definitely noticeable.

Yeah in that photo Beaver favors Ward & Wally favors June.

I don't think that either kid looked like either parent. There was an episode, though, where June says Wally looks like a Bronson (her side of the family).
