Earlier this afternoon my sister and brother-in-law had their first child, a girl. I am so happy right now and it feels so great to have a niece.

Anyone else here aunts or uncles?

My sister had her baby girl on Jan. 6th, they named her Dezzarae, and then my other sister had her baby boy on Jan. 22nd, they named him Baby Fidel, after his dad.

Yes, I'm an uncle. And as your uncle mentor, I need to remind you that you now are contractually bound to spoil that kid rotten, to the chagrin of your sister. It says so on page 43 of the Uncle's Handbook.

I'm the oldest, and my only sister is 11, so it'll be awhile(hopefully) before I'm an uncle. :eek:
