I think that the tribute to John was quite sad. I was also saddened by the fact that neither Suzanne or Joyce were at the TV Land awards.

To see all those talented people in one room was a great honor. But I was saddened when I thought of how old some of them are getting and how much life should be cherished. don't hate me for this and I hate to say it, but, the world will be losing a lot of gifted and funny people in the next few years.

no offence to anything or anyone but Don Knotts didn't look very good. I hate to say it, but he looks like he'll be one of the next great comedians to be leaving us soon.:crying: :( :crying::( :crying:

Ok , I`m just stating my opinion , but I agree Don Knotts doesnt look as good as he did , but its like the case with John Ritter. John looked great for his age , really great , and you`d never know he had a problem with his heart. So even though Don Knotts doesnt look that great, he may be as healthy as a horse ! ( or even healthier * hopefully * )

I was thinking the same thing as they kept panning the crowd. When these stars pass on, a small piece of you goes with them as they have become a part of you as you watched them through the years.

Just look at Gilligan's Island, half the cast is already gone. And with TC...John, Norman and Audra are gone. That's why I am happy to see these old classic shows coming out on DVD. That way we can always go back and relive the fond memories!!

Uh-huh, I think he looked as best as he could. Remember -- there's no such thing as a fountain of youth...

I'm hopping that no one will leave us but we should be worried about us and our friends and family rather than worring about people we don't even know personaly.:(

I found out about it when I woke up one morning for school. My mom asked me if I knew the guy who played Jack Tripper , and I said I did , and she said he died. I felt really bad , but I honestly didnt feel depressed b/c I wasnt that big of a fan at that time. Then , when I went to school , my friends like " Oh did you hear that guy John Ritter died?" From Threes Company?" Then we got into this whole big conversation about it. Then , in my math class , this kid said something about John and he started singing the theme song! Lol! Then , as I started watching the show more and saw more of it , I became really depressed. I`m just glad I got to see John on TV!

* We Love You John! *

the way I found out was when i got to school my best friend said did u hear that john Ritter died and i didn't yet so i said no. and right there i was so shocked. That day in health class my teacher was teaching us about the heart and he mentioned john Ritter and explained how he died and luckly no one was making fun of him. and when i got home my mom told me and then when my dad came home from work he told me, so about 100 people were telling me that day b/c they knew how much i loved three's company and John.

I found out from AOL News -- on the front page, it said he had a heart attack, but it didn't say he passed away until I actually read the article -- I didn't really cry, I was just upset -- I just got into TC at the time (May of last year).

Yeah, it would be sad if we lost Don, but look at it this way. That might bring "Three's Company" back on Nick at Nite. Recently after John Ritter's death, that channel played a "Three's Company" marathon as a tribute. Maybe they would do the same thing if Don Knotts passed away.

Well, I remember browsing the IMDB pages that day and I came across this article about John Ritter's death and I was like 'no...he was so young..I can't believe it' then next thing I remember was me reading about it on another message board and the people said how they had heard about his death and how they loved John as Jack Tripper on Three's Company.

Yeah, and TVLand will probably have an Andy Griffith Show marathon
