Is anyone else having problems with Yahoo mail the last few days? I keep getting time out errors, I can't get the pages to load, I send an email, it times out, I send it again - it times out again but both go through and I STILL get time out errors.

I've rebooted my computer and everything but nothing helps. Wondering if it's Yahoo?

I'm actually having problems logging into Hotmail.

A couple of days ago, I sent an email to someone with the hotmail email address. My email was returned.

Yep, I had problems with Yahoo mail yesterday and I was at school on a fast connection! :mad: The pages did finally load but it took forever.

Hmm. The few times I was able to check my Yahoo emails on here, it worked OK for me. Maybe it's the fact I'm in the UK right now.

The only problem I am having with Yahoo is the fact that they're treating messages from the BoyMeetsWorld.net message board as Spam for some reason, I have repeatedly had to go into my bulk mail folder and click NOT SPAM and I even have it saved in my address book, it's making me so mad! :mad:

All my yahoo accounts have been fine.

I love Yahoo Mail and they have the BEST spam protection. You could be experiencing a temporary issue with the server. Wait for a couple of hours and than try again. Most of their commercial e-mail that gets forwarded goes to the "Bulk" (Junk) folder in the example that the user above talked about. Just keep clicking on the "This is not Spam" button so that the system can learn any messages that you want to go to your Inbox. Or contact the online Help desk. The first time you do, they will most likely send you some generic info of steps to try, but if you keep persisting, they will actually give you the help you need.

PS. The other thing you can do is that if you are on a mailing list and you don't want the mailings to go to your Yahoo Bulk (junk) folder, set up a filter that will tell Yahoo to automatically direct the desired messages to your inbox. Go to "Mail Help" in Yahoo Mail and look for information on how to set up Mail Filters, or type the question "How do I set up Mail Filters?" in the "Ask Yahoo" box and review the help information. This can help if Yahoo keeps calling stuff Spam that you know isn't spam.
