Mary Alice: Yeah. Looking at you closely I see this lovely figure here and it's not being shown off. Do you have anything to do right now?

Mary Alice: Do you think you're boss would be will to give you the day off to come with me?
Jinny: The department is actually having a suprise party for our Captain at eight.
Mary Alice: You'll be back in plenty of time.
Magda: I'll call Cap.

Magda: (into phone) hi cap!.... Yeah it's Magda...Jinny was just ambushed by the people on Ambush Makeover and they want her to go with them for the entire day to get a new look...Actually she's putting up a fight...Okay I'll tell her. (hangs up the phone and talks to Jinny). Jin she said go or she will suspend you again.
Jinny: Alright.
Mary Alice: Okay I'm stealing your friend and the next time you see her she will be an entirely different Jinny.

Mary Alice: We're back and let's recap. I ambushed Jinny and Magda today at the mall and with a little help from Magda and the Captain I got Jinny to come with us.

(At the salon)
Mary Alice: Hello let me introduce you to Jinny. She's our target. I was looking at her and I think that I like her haircut I just want to give her color a little more demention and highlights and for make-up Jinny looks very natural to me...
Jinny:(inturupting) What's wrong with wanting to look natural?
Mary Alice:Nothing we just want to kick it up a notch and give Jinny some form fitting cloths to go along with it. Now she has a party to get to at eight fot her boss so we have five hours to get Jinny's look up and running by then.

Jack: When I first looked at Jinny I thought that her haircut complimented her face but what I want to try and do is put some gel in her hair and give her like a bohemian kind of look.
Teddy: Jinny can use some highlights instead of her black hair all the way around so I am going to try and pull in some honeys and some lighter browns.
Ronnie: As Mary Alice said Jinny was too natural I don't think that she put any make-up on at all. So we want to giver her a bright look.

Mary Alice: Well the plan has been made so let's chat with Jinny as Jack and Teddy wash and color her hair. (sits in a salon chair next to Jinny.) So Jinny what do you do for a living.
Jinny: I am an Inspector in the Felony Division for the SFPD. (Jack's eyes widen.) That woman you saw me with a while ago was Magda my partner and best friend.
Mary Alice: Really? Well I can tell that she really wanted this for you by the way she called the captain. (Jinny laughs.) What are you celebrating tonight?
Jinny: It's Kate, our captain's birthday. So we wanted to do something special.
Mary Alice: Are you dating anyone?
Jinny: Sadly no.
Mary Alice: Really well I may have found an escort for you. Teddy is staring at your hair like he just got out of an all boy school. (Glares at Teddy who is washing Jinny's hair.)
Jinny: (laughing) Maybe.

Mary Alice: The color has been set into Jinny's hair now we can take her to the clothing shop across the way and get her some nice form fitting cloths.

(at the clothing shop)
Mary Alice: Hello Paul this is Jinny she's our target. We wanted to put her into some nice form fitting cloths as opposed to these tops that she is in right now. We want her figure shown off but we don't want the cloths skin tight.
Rick: Okay well I have several selections picked out that you can choose from they're in the dressing room in the back there. (Points to the walls over the fitting room.)
Mary Alice: That's lets go.( Leads Jinny over to the fitting room and waits outside as Jinny tries on the cloths.)
Jinny: This is pushing me over the edge. (Jinny said as she came out in a lady of the night looking top and a pair of very tight jeans that almost hurt for her to walk in.)
Mary Alice: Yeah I don't think that it will be very practical for tonight or any other workday because you will constantly be worrying about 'are my pants going to rip.' (Jinny goes back into the fitting room)
Jinny: This is better. (Jinny comes out in a colorful scarf tunic and a pair of plant pants. Over the tunic is a black trenchcoat.)
Mary Alice: Honestly I like it. It's not pushing your look over the edge but I want to see how it will look with that pair of jean in there because you were wearing too much black before. (Jinny nods and goes back into the dressing room).
Jinny: I think we have a winner. ( Jinny comes out with the same coat and top on but a pair of light colored jeans.)
Mary Alice: You have to get that outfit. It's trendy it's stylish and you can wear it for multiple occasions.
Jinny: Then I guess we are set.
Mary Alice: Not quite. I noticed you had peirced ears. (Pulls out a pair of really big silver hoop earrings)
Jinny: You've got to be kidding me? (Mary ALice shakes her head and puts the earrings in Jinny's ears.)
Mary Alice: They look really nice. Now change out of your new outfit and put your old one back on and we will go back to the salon to finish up your hair.

Mary Alice: We have about two hours left before we have to meet Jinny's coworkers for dinner. So after picking out the perfect outfit we rush bach to the salon for some finishing touches.

Mary Alice: Okay Jack we have approximatly two hours to get her hair and make-up done can you handle that time period?
Jack: I can do that?
(Jinny is sitting in the chair and Teddy comes over and sits next to her.)
Teddy: Hey Jinny do you need an escort for tonight?
Jinny: It was really just going to be the girls but some of my friends are bringing their husbands so if you want to come I can't see the harm.
Teddy: Okay then I better go to my apartment and get a suit don't worry I'll be back.
Jinny: Okay I'll see you later but you don't have to wear a suit it's kind of dressy casual we're just going to Anchorside.
Teddy: Okay. I'll stop by and pick up some flowers for your captain as well.
Jinny: That would be so sweet I know that she'll love it. (Jinny says through clenched teeth as Jack begins to scrunch her hair with his hands.)
Teddy: Okay then I'll see you in a little bit.

(Ten minutes later Jack finishes with Jinny's hair and Mary Alice sends her target to get changed. Jinny immerges from the bathroom and Mary Alice immediatly throughs a rob around Jenny.)
Mary Alice: Ronnie it's time to do Jinny's make-up.
Teddy: I'm back.
Ronnie: Okay lets get started. (Starts moving towards Teddy with an eyebrow pencil.)
Mary Alice: Ronnie :crazy: !! Jinny is our target remember?
Ronnie: Right!! (Moves towards Mary Alice with an eyelash curler.)
Mary Alice: Not me!!!! (Points Ronnie in the right direction) Her!!!Ronnie: Okay!!! (Starts working on Jinny's make-up

So just put these on and don't turn around yet (puts the necklace on and earrings on Jinny). Okay Jinny are you ready.
Jinny: As ready as I will ever be.
Mary Alice: Okay then Jinny turn around.
Jinny: (turns around and starts to yell.) OMG!!!! That is not me!!! I am not the girl with the wavy hair!! OMG!!!!!!! I love it!!
Mary Alice: It's you. Should we head over to the station so that you can show all your friends your new look?
Jinny: Yeah lets go!!
Teddy: Wait for me. (Pulls out some flowers and gives them to Jinny).
Jinny: Oh my goodness thank you!!!
Teddy: May I kiss you?
Jinny: Yes you may!! (they share a kiss)

(Inside the Division)
Mary Alice: Hi I'm Mary Alice with Ambush Makeover. I am happy to say that we have sucessfully made over Jinny and she's waiting in the hall. So I want you guys to close your eyes and keep them closed until I tell you to open them. (They close their eyes and Mary Alice goes to get Jinny and Teddy.) Okay open. (Everyone opens their eyes.)
Magda: OMG!! You guys weren't kidding. (Jinny laughs.) Jin I swear you look completely hot.
Kate: And whose the man at your side?
Jinny: Oh I'm sorry. This is Teddy everyone. Teddy this is: CD, Angela, Magda, and Kate along with their boyfriends, husbands, and kids.
CD: It's nice to meet you Teddy.
Magda: OMG!!! Look at this!! Jinny is wearing high heeled pumps for the first time in her life.
(They continue to laugh.)

Commentaries:
Jinny: I love my new look. I feel amazingly feminine and I think this hair style is going to stick around awhile.

Magda: Jinny really does look great. In a few hours she went from tomboy to Cinderella it's amazing.

Teddy: She looks great!! I look forward to spending days with her in San Fransico.

Mary Alice: Well Jinny has promised not to go back to her tomboy style and she feels confident enough to handle any situation. Watch out America cause on of you could be next. I'm Mary Alice and this has been another sucessful Ambush Makeover.
