Raven-Symone, Kanye West, and VJ Damien
February 10, 2004
As we were sitting there waiting for the show to begin, Shay looked around the studio. She seen the window that is famous to all Nick fans, from the day NON was released. She kept saying she wanted to hump the window, because Nick did! lmao And then Damien came out, to start the show.
Talk about instant reaction! The moment Shay lay her eyes on him, when he came through the door right next to us, she was having hot flashes. Sweat dripping down her face, tongue nearly hanging out! It was hilarious!! She started fanning herself, and saying something along the lines of, "Holy hell he's hot, holy ****, help me, hot flashes here!" All in a big long sentence! D was telling her to calm down, and I was laughing hysterical.
He announced that Raven was there to help him co-host, and she came out. When she walked next to us, she turned and gave us all a big smile, and said hello. The girl is really cute. She has a cute personality.
When the commercial break came, and she was going back into the back, Shay called out to her, and said she came from Colorado to see her. Raven smiled. She was wearing these high heeled boots, and I thought she was going to break her neck in them, lol.
When we went on air again, Shay was getting mad, cuz they moved places, and she couldn't see Damien.
At the next commercial break, Raven was walking all slow into the back, and waving her finger in the air, saying to herself, "I am going to fall, I'm gonna fall.." It was funny.
Then when we went on air again, Q introduced Kanye, and he came out. He grabbed at hands, and said, "What up?" to a lot of the fans around him. I'm not much into rap, and r&b, so I didn't care much for him. We kept our eyes on Damien and Q though.
During one of the video's, Courtney brought this girl over by us. She told the girls sitting in front of me to move for a minute, and had this other girl sit there. So I knew that the girl was doing a shout out. And I also realized that I'd be on the screen when she did it. So yeah, you can see me perfectly behind the girl doing the shout out.
Then we were just sorta talking, and dancing through the videos. We noticed that they were taking turns taping Q and Kanye, and Damien and Raven sitting with fans, talking. Then all of a sudden, they had the girls in front of us move again. And down sat Damien and Raven.
Raven sat and started talking to Shay right away, remembering that she said she was from Colorado. Damien is a lot taller then he looks. So when he sat right in front of me, he was leaning back on my legs. I think the man is hot, so I was sort of awe-struck to put it in nice terms. I was whispering "Oh my god, oh my god.." Shay heard me though, and was smiling at my reaction!! Then she told him that she missed him. And he was like, "Missed me? Why?" And she said something about him not hosting TRL, and she had missed him. The camera man was trying to tell us to shut up though.
So afterwards, Damien and Raven stood up to walk away. Damien turned to say good bye to us, and he seen Shay's shirt. So he grinned and pointed to her shirt, then her face, then her shirt. The 3 of us, *Myself, Shay, and Damaris* cracked up laughing! It was hilarious.
Then a little while later, the show was over. Raven walked by us, to go in the back, and she waved, and said good bye, thanks for coming. It was sweet. Then Damien came and said bye, nice seeing everyone. Shook hands with a few people reaching for him. And then Q did the same thing.
It was over-all, a great time. And I could easily see Shay had a great experience!
