Who here has read Barry Williams' book, "Growing Up Brady. I Was a Teenage Greg?" I picked it up at the flea market and I must recommend it to all fans of the show! It was written before Robert Reed died. In the book are neat trivia facts, info on the Brady Bunch and the spinoffs that followed. Perhaps one of the best features in the book is memos sent by Robert Reed to Sherwood Schwartz. The memos contain Robert Reed's comments and criticisms of select episodes. I must admire Robert Reed's acting ability. For as much as he hated doing that show, it never once showed on camera.

Actually the GUB Book is laced with errors in the episode guide! Lousy book indeed!

I agree, the episode guide isn't very accurate. I recommend the one available in Bradymania. However, episode guide aside, its a great book.

When Greg(Barry Williams) first wrote that book he was on tour of colleges, he came to a college I was attending and I got to see him live, he did say some thing about the show and how he wished people would stop associating him as Greg Brady. He said he had a good time when it was on tv and doing it now the time has passed he and he does not want to be remembered as Greg Brady for the rest of his life.

He did say. I had a crush on Florence Henderson throughout the filming of our show. I did get up the nerve to ask her out on a date, and she accepted. We had a great time but it is safe to say my expectations were different than hers.

He did dress up in one of his Johnny Bravo costumes while he was on stage and had the audiance sing along, and he do some dances and invited a few people up to do some weird 60 and 70's dances with him.

All in all it was nice to see him in person. I really can't say for sure if he hated doing the show or not, guess you had to see him for yourself to decide if he really liked doing the show or if he hated it.

Maureen and I dated on and off from year three through year five. We liked each other, trusted each other and of course it was convenient. It got kinda weird though because of all the people, parents, producers being around all the time, not to mention the roles we played.

Tiger the dog had a showdown with a fast moving flower truck in the middle of the street and lost. We were in the middle of filming the episode "Katchoo" where Jan thinks she is allergic to Tiger.

How did they do the Football on Marcia's nose?
The prop guy stood about six feet away and just lobbed the football on her nose. She gets credit for being a trooper.

Did you do your own surfing for the Hawaiian episodes?
Yes I did my own surfing. And that wipeout wasn't planned

Do you still keep in touch with the rest of the cast?
Yes we still keep in touch and in many ways I consider the Brady's like a second family.

What was your favorite episode?
My favorite episode is "Adios Johnny Bravo" which is one reason I titled my CD "The Return of Johnny Bravo".

What was your least favorite episode?
My least favorite episode was "The Hair Brained Scheme". It was our last episode, and there was friction because Robert Reed refused to be a part of it. The premise was pretty dumb.

Do people call you Greg?
My friends all call me Barry. Yes strangers will call me Greg, but I like to be known as a person more than just a character.

What did you think of "Brady Bunch, The Movie" and it's sequel?
I liked "The Brady Bunch Movie" but I didn't care for "A Very Brady Sequel". The first one was funny and kind've clever. The sequel seemed like one joke and not very funny. Marcia was hot in both.

I wouldn't say that, if you look closely at the first season theme song he seems to get annoyed by the looking around part at the end.
