I was going to say the portrait of Laura from "October Eve", but we never actually got to see the painting, did we?

They're copper molds. My mother had some when I was a kid. She used to put jello in them. Some people used them for decorations, as did the Petries. Every time I see them, I remember them from when I was a kid!

I'd love to have Laura's musical jewelry box or Alan Brady's musical decanter that plays "How Dry I Am".

Another great collectible would be Mel's ventriloquist dummy from Too Many Stars. I just saw this recently and don't think I'd seen it before. I love how Mel slams the dummy into it's case, as if it's the dummy's fault the act didn't go over or something! Although I've always thought ventriloquist dummys were sort of creepy too.

I think I heard somewhere that Larry Matthews has the desk that was in Alan Brady's office. Actually, I think he said it in one of the commentaries. I bet there are some great things to be had out there if someone knew where to look. Good to hear from you, Doug. I am really looking forward to the reunion special.

yes indeed. Larry has the desk. But not the massively inflated ego of Alan Brady. He came into the desk by accident when they were moving the stored props into a new storage facility and didn't really realize which desk it was until he was watching TDVDS one night and saw the desk in a close shot. he looked over at his own desk and realized that he had to rush right out and buy some toupee stands (just kidding)

:rofl: LOL! I can't wait to get that episode, "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth." It is one of my all-time favorite episodes and I haven't seen it in a couple of years! 2 more weeks til season 4!

I reard or heard once somewher that it's also Carl Reiners fav., and his favorite scene is that one when Laura's in Alans office .

I would have to have the ottoman, over which Dick Van Dyke tripps during the opening credits (part of the time, anyway!). This drem may become reality as dickvandykeshow.com posts that they plan to release the ultimate Dick Van Dyke Show set containing all 158 episodes, extra footage, and personally autographed items all enclosed in an ottoman, just like the one over which Dick Van Dyke tripps. This will be released after the season sets are finished.
