I was just watching The Help, and there was this part where the trainer was lamenting to the chauffeur. When he finishes, the chauffeur says "I haven't seen that much phony emotion since the promos for 8 Simple Rules." Now that is just a rude and insensitive thing to say, as the emotions on the show reflected the emotions in real life :(. Anybody see that?

I'm not familiar with that show. I only have basic, so there's a lot of shows I miss. I don't think it's right for them to be making shots to show like that. If they wanted to criticize the show they should go after the writing or the premise, or other things of that nature. The cast may not always be dead-on with their acting, but they have been very outspoken about how tough those episodes were. Making cracks about their real life emotions just isn't very classy.

I'm glad I didn't watch it last night.I was watching my Three's Company DVD

I watched that and a little shocked when they said that but I didn't take it to heart that show will be cancelled in no time. The only one with any talent on that show is Mindy Cohn and I feel sorry for her that she's on a show like that. All the other woman on that show are dressed up and made out to be bimbos and I find it insulting.

I haven't seen it yet.
