If you believe in prayer, may I request a prayer for my close friend's nephew who is around 3 or 4 and has been in the hospital with a kidney infection along with strep throat?

My friend loves his nephew dearly. He will appreciate the prayers.

That's got to be rough on the poor kid. I hope he is okay.

Aw...I'm sorry. I hate it when little kids get sick like that. :( Hope he feels better...he's in my prayers. :bighug:

Thanks! My friend (who is in my avatar BTW) Jamie Dailey will appreciate all the prayers. Since DL&Q are on a BUSY schedule, I won't get to talk to Jamie for a while, but as soon as I get updates I will post again.

Ok...now, I'm not saying this to be obnoxious or anything, but has anybody sat and thought about what the member's who post here prayers are like..."God, please take care of DLQSfan's friends nephew, and please take care of Ewan's My Man's grandpapa's would be wife who just died, but they didn't get married b/c they didn't wanna screw up their pensions, and please take care of so and so's friends aunts brothers cousin...twice removed..." Seriously, I'm not trying to offend anyone by bringing this up, but it's 2 am, I'm dilarious, and I was sitting here...thinking about it, and it really made me laugh...

Anyway, my friend's nephew is doing fine and is back to normal.

Glad to hear that. I said a prayer as well. The board is a good thing to have when you have a problem. Sometimes there are some that can offer their support. It's a good thing.
