About a week ago,Eric had expressed his fascination with Star Wars.Of course he would only be referring to the first movie,which had come out in 1977.It is now 1979 on the show itself.Which means A New Hope is currently the only Star Wars movie there is in the universe of That 70s Show.So if Eric likes the first movie so much,I wonder how he'll like the next two movies,The Empire Strikes Back,which came out in 1980,and Return Of The Jedi,which came out in 1983.Would he like them better or still prefer the first film.It just makes me wonder.Personally I found the latter two films much more colourful and exciting.I find the first film rather tame in comparison.:rolleyes:

im not sure but what i wanna know is. when they first went to see the movie yeah it was all about star wars but then it kind of vanished. now in season six and the last part of season five its been nothing but starwars for eric. why all of a sudden all the references to starwars??

Yeah, Eric's Star Wars fixation relly has shown itself the past two seasons.

I think it's a great recurring gag. As a Star Wars fan myself (who obsessed quite a bit about the original movie while waiting for "Empire" to premiere) I love all the ribbing Eric takes from his friends and family.

Only true Star Wars fans can handle the laughs of the nonbelievers.
