View Full Version : Family Matters' Carl and Harriette Guest Star on ABC's The Big House on APRIL 9, 2004
Pavan 03-12-2004, 01:53 PM Carl and Harriette Guest Star on ABC's The Big House:
THE BIG HOUSE - "Almost Touched By an Angel" - Non-believer Kevin is so smitten with Angel (guest star Bianca Lawson), a beautiful girl he's met at the family's church, he agrees to get baptized just to win her over. Aunt Tina, unaware of the real reasons, decides to capitalize on Kevin's seemingly miraculous change of heart to win the church board election. Meanwhile Kevin begins to feel mighty guilty about his true motives, on "The Big House," FRIDAY, APRIL 9 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton, who starred as husband and wife in ABC's long-running hit comedy "Family Matters," guest star as The Reverend and Mrs. Jenkins.
Brent88 03-12-2004, 02:35 PM Cool. Thanks for the reminder Pav! I haven't seen them together since she left Family Matters in Late 1997.
marvin g 03-15-2004, 09:53 PM Looks like their on there way of being like "George and Louise". Appearing in t.v segments and commercials as a couple.
Daffyfan2004 03-18-2004, 06:57 PM Yeah. I'll have to remember to tape that.
Daffyfan2004 03-18-2004, 06:59 PM Oh, just to clarify. You did say ABC and not ABC Family right? The reason I'm asking is because I won't be on campus that weekend and I don't get cable at home. If it's on regular ABC, I can watch it anywhere.

It's ABC. The Big House is a new sitcom that is about to start airing on ABC.
Daffyfan2004 03-19-2004, 07:37 PM O.K. Thanks. I'll be sure to remember that.
Pavan 04-09-2004, 10:08 PM I saw the show tonight. Is it me or did Reginald VelJohnson's voice seemed much deeper? Maybe it was for his character, but if it wasn't, that doesn't so good. Jo Marie Payton looked the same to me. They were making fun of her eyes on the show, lol.

I saw the episode too. I believe the deep voice was for the character Reginald was playing.

What kind of character was he playing?
Brent88 04-10-2004, 12:21 PM I think he was playing a church pastor and JoMarie was, of course, playing his wife.

That's too bad. The funniest character's on the show are the big guy(forgot his name) and the father. It's better than George Lopez or My Wife and Kids. I hear they are trying out the show on a Wednesday sometime this month.
