I have a suggestion. If people are posting on a board and the fighting and arguing begin why not let them take the arguing to a seperate area. Maybe a new area called Argue Here.......? That way the threads don't have to close. How about it?

That would encourage even more fighting.

EricIdleFan and safety pin have both been suspended indefinitely. They both need to take a break from the boards for a little awhile to cool off and re-evaluate what they are going to do if they are allowed to come back. We'll see how that works for now.

b/c people WON'T keep the arguing just in that thread...

if you have someone that pisses you off, and let's just say they ACTUALLY go to the argue area and fight and fight and fight about it. They're not just going to just come to these boards and be nice to each other. I think that having a place to argue, promotes the arguing even more and will make the problems worse...jmo...

well what about the other people who are constantly causing trouble how come they haven't been banned? There are more trouble makers than those 2.

Problems, arguments and fights should be taken in PM's. It's up to each other to put the 'offending' party in the ignore list to avoid confrontations

THIS IS A MESSAGE BOARD, PEOPLE! I think everybody here takes this way too seriously. SO is a place to hang out and make some cyber friends, but people get venomous here. :o Step back and look at the big picture. :p

No kidding. I for one experience enough stress and bickering at work all day. I certainly don't want to deal with it here when I come home to relax and have fun. I may have disagreed with some posts but have never had a full blown fight with anyone during my 2 1/2 years here. It's easy for me just to ignore people. It's not like I'm ever going to meet them in person.
