I have noticed that the Season I DVD runs about $10 more than the Season 2 DVD. Does anyone know why this is? I assume that the same # of episodes per season are on each DVD. Does the Season 1 DVD have some extra features that Season 2 doesn't?

Actually, neither release has any extras, but I also have found the pricing for these sets to be odd because Season 1 only has 13 episodes and it costs more than Season 2 which has 24 episodes.

Season 2 sold better because of the price difference.

I think it was because season 1 had better picture quality.

I find it kind of hard to clean a picture when the source material is 20 years old. It was filmed on tape, not on film.

It's not better quality at all, and there are more episodes on Season 2. My guess is because just like many other things, the older, the more valuable something is.

I have season 2, but refuse to buy Season 1. You end up paying about three times as much per episode. Unfortunate, but I have to set limits for myself, with much better deals being out there. I assume Season 3 (July) will be priced like Season 2.
