For the first time on my HOTC and Joher365 sites, I've had negative posts. Normally, I'd roll my eyes and brush it off, but the messages are so repetitive and obnoxious and really irritating. I have a feeling as to who it is (remember the issue on these boards with a "net troll"? well, I'll leave it at that). I found nearly 90 comments to one message on my blog, 40-something on another, etc., and the person(s) makes comments about me and Joher. I have no clue as to how to delete all 100+ stupid comments, and I'm at my wits end. Help!

I found out how I can delete all the stupid messages, but the stupid links gave me an error message. GRR!:mad:

ETA: the links work and I am on a roll deleting the corny comments. I'm going to have to find a way to prevent this from happening again.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I remember that troll on these boards last year. Some people just don't have respect for anybody these days. Good luck.

I don't know what message board service you use, but try looking for an option that lets you block their IP address.

I spent a good one of my two alloted hours on the library comp deleting stupid messages from my blog (where I post updates)...and I ended up disabling the "reply to blog comments" on my blog. Unfortunately, there's not a way to track ISPs.

As for my boards...no one stupid has said anything, yet, but I do have ISP numbers for those.

I just checked my boards and the same person has started trouble there, too...I got his ISP and he's been banned.:)

It's not the same person that was starting trouble here, but from the messages he put (he literally paraphrased everything I said on these boards on my boards), it's someone who's been on SitcomsOnline. Hopefully he won't get a new ISP and start more stuff...but if he does, I'll just keep banning him until he gives up and goes away.
