I must admit I was disappointed with the "little" extra stuff that was placed on the Season 1DVD of KoQ. Here is my wish list for the future DVD releases of Koq. It would be nice if someone from CBS came to this board and saw these requests and full filled them. *wink*wink*hint*hint* If you know someone who does work on the set please forward my concerns. :D

1)I'd like to see more commentaries from the cast and writers. I believe s1 had just one with Kevin James.

2)I'd like to see behind the scenes stuff. i.e. the writers putting a story together. Actors doing their readings, practice run of the episode and then taping the episode.

3) Who designs the set and dresses the character. Who decided what Doug's uniform would look like and who decides what Carrie wears. Are her clothes made by hand or do they come from a store.

4) Multiple seasons on one DVD set.

If anyone else has something they'd like to see add to this thread.

I think the first three are great ideas. I'd like to see some of those things as well. I'd also like to see some more bloopers. I don't think they would put more than one season on a DVD set at one time, though. 50 episodes on one set is a bit much.

  How could I have forgotton the BLOOPERS! Those are great. Yes, Yes, more of those too! I don't think there is anything wrong with a 5 mintue blooper reel. I'm sure a season has tons of them.

This is my thinking for placing 2 seasons on one DVD.
each season has maybe 24 epsodes that are roughtly 22 minutes long. 3 dvd sets

a hour long tv show has about 22-24 episodes with each being roughly 43 minutes in length. these are 6 dvd sets

KoQ has priced their DVD for ~ $29. depends on when/where you buy
60 min show price varies ~ 39 and up. same variants here.

Price wise there isn't much difference. 10 bucks. But 2*KoQ epsidoes = 1*40 minute show. So my twisted way of thinking is why not put 2 seasons on 1 DVD set and charge $45 bucks. that way it's comparable to the 1 hour shows. I wouldn't sit and watch both seasons at the same time but this would be a long term project for when I'm bored. :)

I think the KoQ DVD S1 set should have sold for $19.99. but I'm sure if they did that they would go out of business.

another thing I thought about: I wonder if they could put audition tapes on the DVD. it would be neat to see how Victor Williams and the other cast members came in and the others who auditioned by didn't make it. It would be neat to see if they came in dressed up as what they thought the character would. which makes me wonder, did Leah have to audition?

Anyone know where they film? other than LA. what studio is it.

I guess 50 episodes could work out if they really wanted to do it. KOQ has 25 episodes per season. I don't think they will, though, because they are making more money with individual season releases. I'm sure they could care less about the price we have to pay. I'm not positive, but I believe they film at Sony.

I would only add commercials for each episode.

On the Starsky & Hutch dvd, it has every commercial for the entire season. The way they are put on there. It`s not before each episode. They fixed it so you can watch all of them, one right after the other.

Commercials, that would suck. The only thing I would want to see added is commentary for more episodes.

Just a little clip to remind you what each episode is about.

Oh, you mean Commercials for the show, I though you meant advertisment commercials, sorry. That isn't a bad idea.
