I have been watching tonight's telecast of THE NEW UNSOLVED MYSTERIES and one of the cases profiled tonight has been that of Mary Agnes Gross, who thought she had lost her baby in 1962, the year that she was born. This is the same year that my former aide Beverly Atkinson was born. She was twenty-three at the time that we two met, had dark brown hair and blue (or brown) eyes. Her favorite expression was, "Ah, boo, hiss!"

It was Beverly who first introduced me to C.S. Lewis and Narnia and who bought me my first Narnia books, and she was the daughter of Rhoda Atkinson, my first grade teacher. Still, the telecast tonight has made me wonder - is Beverly Atkinson really Mary Agnes Gross's daughter?:confused:
