the characters weren't rich. And they didn't dress like models everyday of their lives.


Ive never been a real big fan of "Friends" (actually its one of my least favorite shows).... but I did find the early seasons funny, when everyone were still just friends.... and they didn't live like millionares.
When they'd walk around in normal clothes and didn't dress like movie stars.


Idk.... I think I may actually have liked this show if they weren't rich, and its not like its explained why they're rich as in The Jeffersons or Frasier.

I liked it when:
Joey was an unknown actor
Rachel didnt just suddenly jump from no job to some employee at a well established company and climb the corporate ladder with no real experience
Monica was doing catering and not some big time chef at a fancy restaurant
Pheobe was not such a b*tch
Chandler had a job an no one knew what it was and couldnt get a date or a lasting relationship
Ross well what can I say, He was always a Dr. but not a real doctor and I cant remember really liking him to much until lately

I liked it better when their jobs were jokes, they were broke, and their love lives were DOA.
