With Rebecca. I only saw a few so far with Diane.

Diane Years

Ive said it before and Ill say it again....

Diane the character by far.
Its a close race -- but the Rebecca Years are better IMO.

idk it all depends on if you like sam or diane or not. i LOVE the diane years just b/c you know, i like their romance and everything. now if you like cheers when it was centered around the bar and had a ensomble cast then yeah, you'd like the rebecca years.

I think that the writing was better in the Rebecca years!

I like them both, but the Diane years are consistently better. While still good, the show took a considerable drop in quality in the sixth and seventh seasons, but redeemed itself by the time season nine rolled along. In fact, season eleven is one of my favorite seasons.

I like the Diane years better.

I disagree -- I thought that Seasons 6 and 7 were just as good as any Diane year.
But Seasons 8, 9 and 10 were obviously the shows worst.
Although still GREAT IMO, those 3 years are definately not the shows best.

But they ended on the highest note possible -- Season 11 -- my, and many others' favorite season.
And to top it off -- the greatest spinoff of all time.... Frasier!!
