I would like to start an online gallery of pictures taken from The Dick Van Dyke Show episodes. I have a dvd player with my computer, which means I would be able to take screen captures of the dvds from the boxed sets. Before I did this though, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't doing anything illegal. Each picture would have a watermark and display "Copyright 2003-2004 Image Entertainment" (if it needs to say something different, please let me know) in the bottom right corner. The description of the album would also contain a link to the official DVD (http://www.dvdondvd.com) website. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Here's the thing, though. We already have a Dick Van Dyke Show Photo Gallery (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=753&password=) for this website, and the pics do include captures. So you might want to contact the site's moderator, TJ (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/member.php?action=getinfo&userid=3), about your idea, since he posted the pics that are there now from many sources. He would know best about their legality, and he's very accessable.

Yes, he does. I will definitely be sure to share all of my pictures too so he can add to his collection. I'm going to add them at my own site too. I've put together a really nice layout that I hope you all will like. I will post the link once I have everything put together. :)
