Are you talking about Ann's neighbor Ginny? If so, she was played by Mary Louise Wilson. I didn't see her in anything for years, then in 1999 she turned up on All My Children as the snooty Millicent Greenlee. She appeared on AMC occasionally til sometime in 2001. In 2001, she turned up on several episodes of the Sopranos as Uncle Junior's neighbor who had the hots for him when he was under house arrest. That was the last thing I remember seeing her in. As for the character of Ginny, I don't recall them ever mentioning where she went, although they may have & I just don't remember it.

I loved me some Ginny Robliki. I thought she was a good character on the show.

I really liked Ginny Wrobliki too.She was introduced in the show's second season,just after David Kane had moved out to California.But she only lasted that one season.We never saw her leave.She was absent from the season's last two episodes,and after that she was long gone,and never heard of again.It was as if Ginny never even existed.Nobody seems to really know why.I read in a book titled"The Great TV Sitcom Book"from the late 1970s,that after David's departure,the writers quickly decided that they needed a new neighbor,they had just as quickly decided they didn't need a new neighbor after all.That happens to some sitcom characters though.It seemed to happen to a lot of characters on All In The Family.We never actually saw Irene Lorenzo or her husband Frank leave the Bunker neighborhood.Although actress Betty Garret had become a regular on Laverne & Shirley right after leaving the All In The Family series.Archie and Edith's border Theresa was another character who had just vanished.Maybe the reason some sitcom characters leave without a trace,is because their portrayers don't like their jobs.:rolleyes:
