I've just finished participating in an online chat with Warner Bros at hometheaterforum and they announced that there'll be a Looney Tunes Golden Collection 2 released before the end of the year, as well as a deluxe Tom & Jerry release.

Thank you, WB! The first one was great, but when I think about what was left off... I knew there had to be more to come. Any word on a release date?

They didn't give a date, just that it'll be 2004, so I'd assume they're spacing them a year apart. Probably October.

One of my sisters got the first Golden Collection. I never knew that Nickelodeon edited some episodes when they used to air them but they did it for good reasons.

In one Pepe Le Pew (I don't know if I spelled his name right) tries to woo a black cat that he mistakes for another skunk because she got a stripe of white paint on her back by accident. He points a gun to his head and you hear an explosion. Turns out he was faking it. I never imagined something like that in a Looney Tunes episode before I saw it.
