Guys,
Who has the GROWING UP BRADY MOVIE? I vaugley remember it and need you to check something for me if you can recall it. The movie does a fairly good job of recreating the tension that existed between Robert Reed and Sherwood Schwartz over the realistic/comic elements of the Brady Bunch:
There is a scene in the movie where they are supposed to be rehersing with Carol and Alice at the backyard barbacue pit and the dialoge (from what I remember) goes something like this:
Carol: "Alice, you can put the hambuergers on anytime your ready."
Alice: "Sure thing Mrs. Brady, the kids will be ready to eat soon."
Carol: "Greg isn't here, shouldn't we wait for him?"
Alice: "Oh don't worry Mrs. Brady, Greg can sniff out those hamburgers from anywhere in town!"
(The two laugh) and it shows Robert Reed's charactor in the GUB movie ticked at the scene! I wonder if this was an actual scene that they did at the time of filming that they had to redo because of Reed's conniption! (or was it just there for the movie?) I wonder, if it was at one time an actual script for the series before Reed insisted on it being changed, what episode it belonged to?
